Dear AUB Students,
The University Sports Department at the American University of Beirut has the pleasure of inviting all AUB Community to attend the meeting with the two International Marathon Runners, Henry Kiprono Kirwa and Richard Whitehead on Friday December 4, 2009 @ 5:00pm at the AUB Track.
Henry Kiprono Kirwa: THE BLIND ATHLETE ,Triple Gold Medalist, in Paralympics Games Beijing, China, 2008, in 2500M, 5,000M and 10,000M. , and the UN Person of the Year 2009 in Kenya.
  Richard Whitehead: Richard is the current world record holder for leg amputees in both the half and Olympic marathon distances. He is also the first ever leg amputee to complete the marathon in under 3 hours.
Let’s all gather to salute these two great champions that made the Impossible Nothing.
