January 18, 1999 marks the 15th anniversary of
President Kerr's assassination. Inaugurated on Founders Day, December 3, 1982, Dr. Kerr
served as President for one and a half years before he was killed in January 1984.
Today the Malcolm Kerr Memorial Stone in front of Assembly Hall, with the inscription
"He lived life abundantly," is a continuous reminder of the man and his
dedication to AUB and to Lebanon.
