Agriculture Building
Erected in 1953, with funds from the Ford Foundation, it houses the
on-campus departments of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences with
classrooms and laboratories. The off-campus facilities of the Faculty
of Agricultural Sciences are at the University Farm, a two hundred and
fifty acre tract on the road to Baalbeck in the Bekaa' Valley. The
Farm is a rural and research center for students in agriculture where
each is expected to spend the equivalent of one academic year. The
farm includes a dozen buildings for administration offices,
classrooms, laboratories, shops, and dormitories.
