The University Museum is open to all, on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, 2-4 p.m., except during examination periods and holidays. A tour round the Museum gives the visitor a glimpse into the very distant past and acquaints him with the gradual progress of man's culture in the Middle East from the birth of civilization to the Ottoman period.
