Van Dyck Hall
Completed in 1931 and funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, this building is named after Dr. Cornelius Van Dyck, a missionary who founded Abey Academy in Lebanon in 1843 . He was appointed Professor of Medicine and Astronomy in 1867. Van Dyck Hall was completely renovated in the mid-1970's and now provides offices for the Faculty of Health Sciences. The building's two wings, which until February 1998 served as women's dormitories, will be converted into offices.
