Search the Library Catalog, and restrict to items of the desired Material Type (i.e. thesis.). Look at a Sample Search.

How do I find course reserves and previous exams?
Search the Course Reserves by course name, to retrieve a list of print and electronic materials on reserve. Look at a Sample Search.
- Print Reserve materials are kept at the Reserve Desks in the libraries.
- Electronic reserve materials are password protected (username and password are obtained from the professor).
- Previous exams posted electronically can be retrieved by typing "Previous Exams" after the course name (e.g. ECON 211: Previous Exams)
How do I format and submit my thesis?
For thesis formatting and submission, go to the Archives and Special Collections (ASC) Department in Jafet Library, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am. to 5:00 pm.
Quick Guidelines:
- Theses must follow the form and style described in the latest edition of K.L. Turabian Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations (University of Chicago Press), or any other form specified by your Department.
- Draft of your thesis should be checked at the ASC Department.
- Deadlines for deposit of theses at the Library (as stated in AUB Catalogue) are:
- November 10 for students graduating in October
- March 10 for students graduating in February
- June 20 for students graduating in June
- Number of print copies:
Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Suliman S. Olayan School of Business: 1 copy of your thesis/ dissertation printed on Fabriano paper.
- A digital copy of the thesis/dissertation saved as one Microsoft-Word file and one PDF (Portable Document Format) file on a CD-ROM.
- The ASC Department will give you a release form that you will submit to the Registrar's Office, for clearance purposes.

How do I reserve a carrel?
Students writing theses should request a letter from their advisor stating they are engaged in thesis preparation. Print the form, fill it out, sign it, and send it to the Access Services Librarian.
How do I reserve a group study room?
Group study rooms are available on the 3rd floor of Jafet library (in the Reserve Reading Room - RRR)
