Samir and Claude Abillama Eco-Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony 2016 was held on November 3, 2016. The 5 Finalists presented their ideas each in a 1 minute pitch.Following the ceremony, all attendees got a chance to do some networking with the speakers and other nature lovers, while discussing the incredibly green ideas out there during the networking cocktail. The award was granted to team Difaf the Aquaponics Farm, a feasible project that complies with eco-entrepreneurship indicators and has a desirable impact on Lebanon.

2015 Samir & Claude Abillama Eco-Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony:
The second annual Samir and Claude Abillama Eco-Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony was held on September 17, 2015, accompanied by a Start-up Forum and Reception. The evening was brought to life by the inspirational verses of Mr. Georges Khabbaz and the wise guidance of sustainable business expert, Dr. Francisco Szekely.All attendees got a chance to do some networking, get to know the NCC family, and take a look at some of the incredibly innovative ideas out there. The spotlight was of course on Tulos, the winning carpooling app project that proved to be the most feasible, sustainable and most importantly, promising.

The First Samir and Claude Abillama Eco-Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony was held on June 9, 2014, in commemoration of Samir Joseph Abillama’s 80th birthday, and was followed by a Reception. Sarah Moledor was awarded $20,000 for the project "Vermicomposting as a microenterprise in the rural communities of Lebanon"
