The United Nations proclaimed May 22 as the International day for Biological Diversity (IBD) to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues. In response to this call, since 2007, the Nature Conservation Center holds an annual event, the International Biodiversity Day at AUB, providing an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a full-fledged poster forum. The projects tackle nature, its conservation, its challenges, and/or its use, from a variety of viewpoints. Student contributions include demonstrations, models, posters, and description of research findings.
