This project would reconstruct trails in Lebanon that have eroded, or have been forgotten.
Ibsar aims to open a path to recover forgotten trails and offer an opportunity for students to commune and work together to rebuild Lebanon’s heritage.
The trail rehabilitation project seeks to teach the youth we serve how to repair trails and teamwork skills while making their surroundings a more positive and accessible environment.
The Center hopes that rehabilitating these trails will develop and encourage a sense of community and pride among the villages that these trails join and participating youth.
Not only will this provide the students with a constructive experience during the rehabilitation period, but it will also introduce them to nature and to students from different backgrounds and the positive influence these two experiences can have in their lives.
