Safety Release & Outdoors
Please note that bodily injury is covered for participating in the various games including food poisoning subject that AUB is held legally liable and games are under the control of the Outdoor committee and not by the game's owner. Kindly follow the below procedures in case of incidents:
In case of injury:
1. The injured should immediately receive medical care whether first aid or admission to ER.
2. Charges can be made directly to any account (Outdoors or Student Affairs).
3. An incident report form should be completed simultaneously and the treating doctor should complete his/her section on the incident report.
4. Inform me by phone to 03-988678.
5. Send me the incident report on the following working day along with the amount due and the cost center charged.
6. I will send all the information to the insurer to file a claim.
7. I will communicate with you if there are any other missing information.
8. If the incident is covered by insurance, I will send the check in the amount due to the Comptroller's office for proper allocation of money with a copy to Outdoors Committee.
In case of property damage:
1. Report the damage to any of the EHSRM representatives, if available, immediately.
2. Take photographs.
3. Call me if the above was not available.
4. Fill in an incident report and send it to me with the estimated cost and any other relevant documents.
5. I will file a claim with the insurer and communicate with you on who to get reimbursed.
7. If the incident is covered by insurance, I will send the check in the amount due to the Comptroller's office for proper allocation of money with a copy to Outdoors Committee.
