The Health Physics Services is responsible for implementing the Universitys radiation safety program as prescribed by the University Radiation Safety Committee, the Lebanese Atomic Energy Commission regulations, and rules and regulations equivalent to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the US Department of Transportation (DOT).
