The Grounds Manager is directly responsible for the maintenance and up-keep of lawns, shrubberies, flower beds, trees of the AUB Campus and the Medical Center.

Grounds and Transfer division is also responsible for the maintenance of roads, walkways, fences, walls, parking areas, street sweeping, grounds cleaning, garbage collection, refuse disposal and other distribution services such as housing furniture and medical waste transfer done on the premises.

Ground and Transfer division supports minor projects such as trenching, excavation and backfilling.

Typical tasks include:

• Sweeping streets, parking areas and playgrounds
• Garbage removal - Solid waste, Medical waste and occasionally Chemical waste
• Recycling pick up
• Maintaining landscape areas
• Assisting in Student activities

Other services (Charged to requester)

• Move or transfer of furniture / equipment / files (Off Working Hours)
• Special events, outdoor / indoor functions, etc.
