Except for "Introduction to Personal Computing," all ACC courses have prerequisites (described in their pages) and require basic computing skills.  If you do not have these basic skills contact us at acc@aub.edu.lb so we arrange a private tutorial to meet your needs.

 
Basic
Computing Skills

To have "basic computing skills" means to possess, at least:
1) a basic familiarity with computer systems; and
2) be able to do the following:

  • Turn on / off the computer

  • Open and close programs

  • Switch from one program to another

  • Create, save, and delete documents

  • Cut, copy and paste text

  • Find documents saved in the computer

  • Open, move, resize, minimize, maximize, and close windows

  • Get help from the Help menu.
