A trustee since 2015, D. Scott Wise is Senior Counsel at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. In addition to domestic and international arbitrations and mediations, his work includes client representation in products liability, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, consumer protection, tax and securities litigation, and the consensual resolution of multi-jurisdictional regulatory and private civil disputes. He has also represented boards of directors or board committees of American and foreign public companies in fiduciary litigation and in connection with special investigations of various internal corporate matters. Wise is the President of the Board of Trustees of Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, Massachusetts; President of the Board of Trustees of the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont; and trustee of Bayard Cutting Arboretum Trust in Oakdale, New York. He is a graduate of Yale University (BA’74), and New York University School of Law (JD ’77).
