Congressman Frelinghuysen is a former Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from New Jersey, who represented New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District from 1995 to 2019. He served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971. Afterwards he served as a state and federal aid coordinator and administrative assistant to board of chosen freeholders, Morris County, New Jersey. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Hobart College in 1969 and pursued graduate studies at Trinity College.
