Dr. Khayrallah is the CEO of the startup venture Emergo Therapeutics and is Founder of the Moise A. Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies at NC State, an endowed research center dedicated to the production, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge and memory about the Lebanese in the United States and throughout the world. He is also the North Carolina Honorary Consul of Lebanon and is a strong believer in education and entrepreneurship. Dr. Khayrallah has been active in philanthropy throughout his career and has given his time and resources to highlight the cultural and economic richness which immigrants have brought to America. He is currently on the board of several startup companies in the pharmaceutical or information technology industries. Dr Khayrallah is a serial entrepreneur and investor in pharmaceutical drug development and biotechnology. He acquired his experience over a 35-year period in diverse pharmaceutical environments including large pharmaceutical, contract research, and biotechnology companies. He holds a PhD degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his BA in Psychology from the American University of Beirut.
