The AUB University Libraries (UL) were sad to hear about the passing away of Dr. Abdulrahim Abu-Husayn, a late professor at AUB's Department of History and Archaeology and a renowned researcher and author of publications related to Arab, Ottoman, Islamic and Christian history in the region.
The Libraries are proud to house most of Dr. Abu-Husayn's
publications.
Researchers and scholars interested in his work can check his work in
AUB Scholarworks, AUB's institutional repository (IR) which is a platform where the AUB research community can publish their scholarly output and ensure long-term archiving and higher discoverability for publications (among many other services).
Also, in honor of his memory, the libraries will display a selection of his books in Jafet Library's main lobby from June 30th until July 7th.
The AUB community at large mourned his death and recollected his achievements. Readers can know more by checking
this article that was posted on the AUB news website.
Rest in Peace, Dr.
Abdulrahim Abu-Husayn. Your work and legacy will survive through the AUB University Libraries.
