UL’s Bassem Fleifel (PhD) publishes a new peer-reviewed article

Dr. Bassem Fleifel, an AUB University Libraries staff member at the Gifts and Exchange - Collection Development Section, published a peer-reviewed article in the 67th volume of the Journal of Arts, Literature, Humanities, and Social Sciences (May 2021) entitled: “الخطر الغربي على المُقاطعات اللُبنانيَّة خلال العهد المصري “, which translates into “The Western Threat to the Lebanese Provinces during the Egyptian Era".

You can access and read the full text of the article here:

A young and active researcher and writer by nature and practice, Fleifel had published, back in 2019, a book that sheds light on the Ottoman era of Lebanese, Levantine, and Ottoman history.

Fleifel recently published another peer-reviewed article in the WikiJournal of Humanities about the founder of the Ottoman Dynasty, Sultan Osman I. You can read the article here.
