AUB's University Libraries, Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship, Archaeological Museum, Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs and the AUB MEPI-Tomorrow's Leaders program cordially invite you* to celebrate International Women's Rights Day on Tuesday, March 8
As part of AUB's coed centennial celebrations, a series of diverse events will be held on campus on March 8th, highlighting and amplifying women's voices and achievements, past, present and future.

- Event opening ceremony and welcome note
- Guest Speaker: Dr. Amal Mudallali, Lebanese Ambassador to the UN
- Launch of a library exhibit on the history of women in the Arab Press
- Interactive panel discussion featuring AUB women students, faculty members, recent graduates, and alumnae including:
- Moderator: Carla Akil, Researcher at Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship
- Vivienne Badaan, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology
- Tania Haddad, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Studies and Public Administration
- Boushra Rahal Alameh, Assistant to the provost for academic affairs, Director of institutional accreditation, Office of the Provost

- “Mother Earth" installation of Andrée Hochar Fattal's sculptures, resonating with the museum's collection of goddesses of fertility, animated for the occasion.

- BAFF screening of “Sheherazade's Diary" followed by a panel discussion with director Zeina Daccache
