New LibGuide: Arabic Comic Books

In support of the newly launched Mu'taz and Rada Sawwaf Arabic Comics Initiative at the American University of Beirut, the University Libraries are pleased to announce the publication of their new guide “Arabic Comic Books.“ The guide includes a panoply of crucial reference and library items, as well as select online resources related to comic books as well as to graphic novels in the Arab world. It also features, among other resources, a timetable highlighting selected Lebanese comic books published between the years 1952 and 2009.
