University Libraries COVID-19 Updates: Services and Resources

This page contains all information related to the University Libraries current operations and response to the COVID-19 outbreak work challenges. 

​Working Hours:

All AUB Libraries are closed until further notice. However, library staff members are coming to work and/or providing remote services to users.

​Remote Services

​Research services:

Teaching: Embed a librarian remotely in your class to help you identify resources for your teaching and to help your students with their class work and research.​

Scanning course materials: Faculty members are welcome to request the scanning of course readings from the library collection. Library staff will scan and email the material as PDF within 24 hours.

Borrowing books: The Library will fulfill any requests for scanning selected book chapters.

Renewing your books online: Faculty and students are encouraged to use the online renewal service​ to avoid receiving automated overdue notices.

NEW Library fines: The University Libraries are exceptionally waiving all overdue loan fees for checked-out books and other library materials until further notice.

NEW Online workshops:  To schedule virtual library workshops, please contact, 2620/2629

All in-person Library events and workshops are canceled until further notice.
