The University Libraries in collaboration with the University Research Board (URB) held their first “Research Impact Marathon", a week-long event to support AUB researchers in increasing their research visibility and impact. The event was held between April 26 and 29 with booths set up in different location across campus, including SML, Jafet, OSB, Science and Agriculture, and Engineering libraries.
This event was planned in coordination with URB and is one of several upcoming events and webinars, including ones about Open Access publishing, Self Archiving, and Data Management.
Researchers from across AUB joined us to
- Create and/or maintain a consistent researcher profile and ID (ORCID, Scopus and Google Scholar)
- Increase research discoverability by:
- minimizing name ambiguation
- maximizing social presence
- data sharing
This event targeted all AUB researchers, including faculty members, Graduate students, research coordinators, research assistants, and staff from all departments.
