MEPI Scholar and LDEM Alumna Aya Hamze “Highly Commended” at Global Undergraduate Awards​

​​​T​​​he Department of Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management (LDEM) congratulates their 2019 alumna Aya Hamze, whose paper ranked among the top 10% of papers submitted to the Architecture and Design category in “The Global Undergraduate Awards 2020". Aya's paper The Energy Park - Reclaiming the Naameh Landfill, which was her final year project for a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, made it to the top from among over 4,000 submissions to the Undergraduate Awards this year.

​Aya Hamze is a MEPI-TLG scholar at AUB, pursuing her graduate's degree in Rural Community Development. AUB and MEPI are proud of Aya's achievement. We look forward to more success stories from all of the MEPI-TLG scholars during these challenging times.
