Digital Accessibility at AUB
Our mission at AUB is to make all digital resources and services accessible to our community, including students, faculty, and staff, especially those with disabilities. Aligned with AUB’s vision, we are dedicated to providing equal opportunity and enhancing success by ensuring equitable access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Our goal is to foster an inclusive digital environment that supports the success and retention of all members.
Commitment Statement
The Office of Innovation and Transformation is committed to promoting accessibility and aims to align AUB’s digital content and technologies with the principles of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by supporting the use of assistive technologies.
Services Offered

Assistive Technology Support: Providing eligible students, faculty, and staff with documented disabilities assistive technology.

Support and Accommodations: Collaborating with the Accessibility Education Office, departmental coordinators, academic staff members, and Title 9 office to facilitate digital accommodations for students with disabilities. Providing support, recommendations, and guidance to individuals with disabilities, ensuring they can effectively utilize digital resources and assistive technologies.

Consultancy and Training: Offering comprehensive training sessions on creating and maintaining accessible digital content.

Students requesting assistive technology: If you are a student with a documented disability or condition that is affecting your academic achievement and you are seeking digital accessibility accommodations in your courses and programs, please register with the
Accessible Education Office (AEO) or contact
accessibility@aub.edu.lb.

Faculty or Staff requesting assistive technology: If you are a faculty or staff member seeking support with digital accessibility or require assistive technology to enhance your work environment, submit your requests directly using the
application form or reach out on

Availability is subject to resources, demand, and specific eligibility requirements.
