Bernard El Sousse is a licensed Psychotherapist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the US. He is also a board member of the Lebanese Psychological Association. He has been a clinician for 25 years. Most of his experience was acquired in outpatient clinics in the US working with minorities. He returned to Lebanon in 2011. Since then, he has developed and maintained a private practice in addition to working with local and international NGOs.
The method he mainly uses in sessions is cognitive-analytical. through this approach, people reach a better understanding of themselves and the roots of their symptoms. They also learn about the connection between thinking and feeling, and ways to develop healthy thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors, in order to achieve a better quality of life and a more meaningful one.
