  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Make sure to complete your Orientation Checklist
Activate your AUBnet account by July 20, 2026, to ensure participation in the orientation sessions
Save the Orientation Program (coming soon)

Step 2: Fall 2026-27 Online Pre-Orientation- Starting July 21, 2026

Our Pre-Orientation program consists of a combination of the two categories below. Whether you have questions about course registration or campus facilities, this program is here to support you every step of the way.

Step 3: Fall 2026-27 On-Campus Orientation- August 20, 2026

All new students must participate in all the On-campus Orientation activities, as they will provide a strong foundation for their academic and personal experience.

Register before August 14, 2026, for the Fall 2026-27 On-Campus Orientation that will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

To secure your spot for the On-Campus New Student Orientation (NSO) on Thursday, August 20, follow the steps below for registration:

Step 2: Scroll down to the event section
Step 3: Click on August 20 on the calendar
Step 4: Click on the link below the calendar, "New Student Orientation Fall 2026-27"
Step 5: Fill the form and submit
