Get Involved

Students have the opportunity of becoming members in clubs, societies, and student government committees. In addition, students have the opportunity to collaborate and experience becoming team leaders and team members in student publications such as Outlook Newspaper and Yearbook. Students can also collaborate in organizing annual events like Outdoors Event, Folk Dance Festival, and New Student Orientation.

Annual Activities

AUB Outdoors

AUB Outdoors is an annual event, organized by the Office of Student Affairs, that takes place during two consecutive days towards the end of the Spring semester.
Students from different majors and faculties gather their experiences and work all year long to prepare an unforgettable weekend. The best bands and comedians that perform all around Lebanon take part of this event every year. Outdoors is based every year on a theme that the committee chooses and centers all the work (such decoration, music, costume…) around. The work is divided upon subcommittees that take care of each detail they are responsible for.

Folk Dance Festival

It's a very important event that takes place annually at AUB. The dance groups come from fiverse communities representing all that is best of Lebanon. Many participating schools have long connections with AUB. During the Folk Dance Festival, dances from east and west fill the Green Field expressing shared human values. The music and celebration of diversity and culture are enriching and inspirational and capture an important part of AUB students' experience to come.

Student Publications

Outlook Newspaper

Outlook is AUB's official independent student newspaper since 1949. Our weekly publication covers campus news, investigations, opinion pieces and other content related to the AUB community. The Outlook team is comprised of a dedicated group of students from various faculties. Its readers are a diverse community of international and local students and faculty, with every Outlook issue directly reaching a whopping 12,000 people including AUB students, alumni, faculty, staff and visitors.

The Yearbook office is more than just creating the Yearbook. We have five teams including the Business Team, Web and Social Media Team, Photography Team, Editorial Team, and Graphics Team, who each share an equally important role. We work together to create the final Yearbook and to hold various events throughout the year. The two most important events are the Fall and Spring Photoshoot that are held at the end of each semester for the graduating students and which is full of fanfare and fun.
Don't pass unseen,
