The Counseling Center conducts an annual recruitment round for volunteers among current AUB students. Following a thorough selection process, peer supporters undergo a meticulous training to ensure they are well-prepared to provide effective peer-to-peer support services. Peer supporters are required to commit to a fixed schedule with a minimum of four hours per week (M-F). This commitment ensures a consistent and reliable presence for those seeking support within the program.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.2 (80%).
- Have been a student at AUB for at least 1 year.
- Have at least two semesters left at AUB
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate full-time or part-time student.
- Committed to attend the required trainings (5-6 days) and supervision.
- Committed to dedicating a minimum of 4 hours per week for supporting students.
- Dedicated to provide services during the semester(s) with NO interruptions due to other commitments such as student elections or other positions
- Able to provide support without bias or discrimination based on any characteristic, including but not limited to race, gender, religion, or disability
