Accreditation Status

AUB is accredited as an institution by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, (267) 284-5000. MSCHE accreditation is an expression of confidence in AUB's mission, goals, resources, and performance based upon periodic internal and external assessment. The university was first accredited in June 2004, and this accreditation was reaffirmed in 2009 and 2014. A monitoring report was submitted on April 1, 2016, documenting the actions AUB took to address MSCHE recommendations. On June 23, 2016, MSCHE accepted the monitoring report and scheduled the next evaluation visit for 2018-19.

Complaints to MSCHE

A person who is considering filing a complaint with MSCHE, institutional accreditor, should read MSCHE's complaint policy "Complaints Involving Member and Candidate Institutions". Information on how to file a complaint with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) regarding an accredited MSCHE institution can be found on its website at: https://www.msche.org/complaints/ ​
