Awarded to a graduating student who has an outstanding academic record.
- Ali Nehme Nesr Student Award
Awarded for research or development thesis/capstone/final-year projects on topics in the MENA and Sub-Saharan regions that revolve around the WEFRAH nexus (commodities, value chain, processing, marketing, product innovation, etc.).
- Beit el Baraka and AUB Keepers of the Land Award
Recognizes outstanding final-year projects in agribusiness, agriculture, and nutrition and food science that demonstrate creativity, sustainability, and impact within the Keepers of the Land initiative. This award celebrates innovative solutions that contribute to food security, sustainable farming practices, and the advancement of the agricultural and food industries.

Awarded to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Dean Edgecombe Memorial Award
Awarded to an outstanding graduating student with a bachelor degree in agriculture.
- Dean Nuhad Daghir FAFS Graduate Student Award
Awarded to the graduating student with a master’s degree in animal science or poultry science who accumulates the highest average over his/her graduate studies at AUB.
- Director Fawwak Slieman - Dean John Fischer Endowed Award
Awarded to an undergraduate student who is a 3rd or 4th year student who has committed to a FAFS major and demonstrates financial need and academic promise in the fields of agriculture, food or water security in the Middle East region or Africa.
- Dr. Musa Najib Nimah Endowed Award for Academic Excellence
Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student from the agriculture program with the highest cumulative GPA.
- Dr. Yusuf Abou Jawdah Endowed Award
Conferred on a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate agriculture student who shows good understanding of the principles of food safety and sustainable agricultural development and demonstrates the ability to provide environmentally safe and innovative solutions and recommendations to deal with damaging and new or emerging plant pests. The awarded student should have the highest cumulative average in a minimum of three plant protection courses.
- Nahla Hwalla Endowed Award in Nutrition and Dietetics
Conferred on an annual basis to a graduate student from the Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program who has outstanding academic performance and who has exhibited collegiality and leadership with active engagement in student life to promote principles of health and wellbeing.
- Rabi and Samia Mohtar Award
Awarded to a graduating FAFS student with financial need who demonstrates leadership and potential to impact the food and agriculture system.
- The Aiman Suleiman Student Development Fund
Awarded to an FAFS student or team on the highest ranked capstone project.
- The Dean Thomas Sutherland Prize To Students In F.A.F.S.
Awarded annually at graduation to the undergraduate recipient of the Penrose Award and the graduate student with the best thesis.
Awarded annually to deserving AREC students with good academic standing. The student should be environmentally aware and interested in agricultural practices and development.
