AUB Scholarship Fundraising Committee

The AUB Scholarship Fundraising Committee traces its roots to a sad day in AUB history: the bombing of College Hall on November 8, 1991. Within hours of hearing the news, alumni and friends began to mobilize to raise money to rebuild College Hall, an iconic building on the AUB campus. Their initiative sparked a campaign that eventually raised almost $20 million. When College Hall was rededicated in July 1999, the College Hall Fundraising Committee focused its attention on another AUB priority: scholarships. It also got a new name: the AUB Scholarship Fundraising Committee. The current committee includes prominent alumni and friends of AUB who fundraise for AUB's financial aid program.

The Office of Development liaison is Imad B. Baalbaki, Vice President for Advancement.
