  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Neonate Fund

The Neonate Fund was established in 2011 by five mothers who wanted to provide financial assistance to families with newborns in need of specialized medical care at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at AUBMC.

The Neonate Fund is affiliated with the AUBMC Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; Dr. Khalid Yunis, Director.

The Office of Development liaison is Walid Katergi, Associate Vice President for Development.
