When you make a planned gift to AUB, you are investing in the university, in Lebanon, and in the region. You are helping to ensure, in the words of our Mission Statement, that AUB will be able to continue “to provide excellence in education, to participate in the advancement of knowledge through research, and to serve the peoples of the Middle East and beyond" for generations to come.
AUB is a global university. The members of the AUB family are global citizens—often citizens of one country, who live in another country, and own property in a third. We recognize that there are laws, family considerations, and religious differences that influence how our alumni and friends approach planned giving. AUB staff in Beirut and North America are equally diverse and are also aware of and respect these differences.
We can assist you in identifying the right planned gift to meet your interests, wherever you reside. Some of the information on this website is relevant only for US or Canadian citizens
. We have the expertise and the experience, however, to work with a wide range of bequests from our worldwide family of donors. If you have questions, please contact us
. We would be happy to speak with you and answer any questions you may have.
We have recently established the AUB Clock Tower Society
to recognize and thank donors who have instituted a planned gift or included AUB in their estate plans.
AUB has received many planned gifts and bequests over the years—dating back to 1870. You can read about some of those early bequests here. You will find more recent stories about donors who have made bequests to AUB here.
