  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. iFight PID Fund at AUBMC

The iFight PID Fund was launched by the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at AUBMC in April 2017. This committed group of volunteers believes that “Every child with PID should have the chance to live.” The fund is raising money to provide financial support for underprivileged children; increasing awareness among medical institutions, physicians, and parents of PID; and supporting advanced research related to these diseases.

The iFight PID Fund is affiliated with the Center for Infectious Diseases Research at AUBMC; Dr. Ghassan Dbaibo, Director.

The Office of Development liaison is Walid Katergi, Associate Vice President for Development.
