AUBMC Corona Response Fund

Doctors and staff at the AUB Medical Center (AUBMC) worked closely with colleagues at the WHO, Lebanese Ministry of Health, and other public health officials in Lebanon from the earliest stages of the outbreak of COVID-19 in Lebanon to develop and implement the most appropriate measures to maintain the safety of the community including our patients, students, and employees. AUB established a Pandemic Evaluation Clinic and Center (PECC) at AUBMC to provide screening and patient care. You can find out more about how AUBMC responded to COVID-19 here.

To help AUB deal with the pandemic, the university established the AUBMC Corona Response Fund to receive contributions from donors who wanted to support the ongoing operations of the PECC. Proceeds from the fund were used to purchase medical equipment, personal protective equipment, and testing kits; to support PECC operations; and for patient care.
