    Established in 2015 in honor of AUB's 150th anniversary.  This fund supports qualified students in need of additional financial support. 


    A. Sayour-Greek Orthodox Scholarship
    Established in the mid 1950's to support a qualified Greek Orthodox female student in need.


    A.G. Massabki Scholarship
    Established in 1978, and supports qualified students in need  pursing their medical degrees at the Faculty of Medicine.


    A.M. Rabbat Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1989 to support students majoring in the Faculty of Arts and Science, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and/or the School of Business.


    Abdallah Youssef Lahoud Endowed Scholarship
    Established in January 2012 to honor the life and memory of the late Abdallah Lahoud, Youssef's son to support needy and qualified students.


    Abdul Ghani and Inayat Hammour Endowed Scholarship
    Established in October 2009 to support Lebanese and Syrian students in financial need with good academic standing studying Engineering, preferably Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.


    Abdul Mohsen Al-Qattan Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1989 by Mr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Qattan to support Palestinians students. Mr. Al-Qattan, an AUB Trustee, is the founder and chairman of the A.M. Qattan Foundation, one of the leading cultural and educational institutions in the Arab world.


    Abdullah Osseiran Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1972 by the friends of Mr. Abdullah Adil Osseiran after his tragic and untimely death.  This fund supports needy and qualified students from South Lebanon pursue their studies at AUB.


    Agnes Varis Endowed Scholarship
    Established in August 2017 by the Agnes Varis Trust to support qualified students in need pursuing their degrees in the sciences. 


    Ahmad Abdul Jabbar Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in October 2004 by Ms. Maha, Ms. Lina, and Ms. Rima Abdul Habbar, the daughters of Mr. Ahmad Abdul Jabbar, a renowned diplomat, as a surprise to him. The scholarship supports any needy and qualified students.


    Ahmad and Shirine El Khatib Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2015 to support qualified students in need, with a priority for Palestinian students.


    Ahmad S. El-Khalidy Endowed Scholarship
    Established in April 1956 by AUB Trustees in the memory of Ahmad S. El-Khalid. This scholarship supports qualified Palestinian students in need studying in the Faculty of Arts and Science.


    Ahmad S. Zaabri Endowed Scholarship
    Established in March 2013 in honor of Ahmad Al Zaabri an AUB Alumnus (BA 00) to support qualified students in need.


    Ahmad Shamsuddin Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in May 2001 by the Shamsuddin family and a group of colleagues, friends, and students of the late Professor Ahmad Shamsuddin. The scholarship is given to high achieving students studying in need studying Computer Science.



    Aida Ashur Hannun Endowed Scholarship

    Established in January 2019 by Dr. Yusuf Hannun to support a Palestinian women who demonstrate financial need and are majoring in either Mathematics or computer science.



    Ali Ghandour Endowed Scholarship
    Established in August 2003 to honor AUB Trustee Emeritus Ali Ghandour. This scholarship supports qualified students in need of financial support.


    Alsaad General Contracting Endowed Scholarship
    Established in August 2010 by Alsaad General Contracting to support qualified students in need studying Civil Engineering at AUB.


    Amal and Farouk K. Jabre Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in July 2005 in honor of Trustee Farouk Jabre and his wife Amal.  This scholarship provide financial support to qualified students in need.


    Andre Antoine Merab Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2017 by Trustee Jaques P. Merab in memorial of Andre Antoine Merab.  This scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Angela Jurdak Khoury Endowed Scholarship
    Established in April 2017 by Trustee Philip Khoury to support a qualified undergradaute student who shows financial need.


    Anis B. & Mima Malouf Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1955by the Malouf's to support qualified students in need.


    Anthony E. Mansour Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1990 by Mr. Anthony E. Mansour to support qualified Palestinian students in need.


    Antoine Saad Hamra Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2002 by the classmates, friends and relatives of Mr. Antoine Hamra (BA '77 Civil Engineering) to honor his memory through providing financial support to students from his hometown of Marja'youn.


    Arabia Insurance Nabih Faris Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2005, in honor of AUB professor Nabih Faris . This scholarship supports needy and qualified students studying Middle East History, Arab Studies, Business Administration, Economics, Computer and Communication Engineering, or Mathematics.  The scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students studying any of the above majors. 


    Archak & Maroun Senekjian Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1983 by Mr. Harry Seneca M.D. in the name of his parents Archak and Maroum Senekjian to support  Armenian Students in need.


    AREC '78 And Friends Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1980 by the AREC '78 Committee as a scholarship to support a needy agriculture student, who best appreciates and participates in farm life during his/her stay at AREC.


    AREC '80 Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2006 by the AREC 80 Committee in memory of classmates Sinan Kaysi-Farran, Diabb Abou Jaoude, and Randa Smine. The endowment was established with the support of  the AREC 80 class, and friends who contributed and raised the funds for the establishment of the endowment. This scholarship supports students studying in the Faculty of Food Sciences.


    Areen Projects Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1982 by Areen to provide financial assistance to needy students in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    AUB Alumni Association of North America
    Established in 1951 to support qualified students in need.


    AUB Alumni At NPCC Abu Dhabi Scholarship
    Established in 1990 by the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) to provide scholarships to needy and qualified Lebanese or Palestinian students who are registered in Engineering or Business Administration.


    AUB Alumni Development Scholarship
    Established in 1996 by the Office of Development. This scholarship is funded through the proceeds of the sale of the Directory of Alumni 1866-1991 and the sale of Alumni Identification Cards. This scholarship helps needy and qualified students.


    AUB Alumni Student Scholarship
    Established in 1979 by the Office of Development to support qualified students in need.


    AUB Fine & Performing Arts Endowed Fund
    Established in 2002, upon a reunion dinner of MSFEA 64 classmates, a MSFEA Class of 64 Scholarship at AUB. This scholarship was made to financially support the new generation of qualified MSFEA students who show financial need.


    AUB Scholarship Fundraising Committee Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1997 to raise funds designated for the support of the University Scholarship Program. This committee raises funds through various activities to support needy and qualified students.


    Azeez & Saleemeh Shaheen Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1978 with the donation of shares in various stocks from Mr. Azeez Shaheen. The dividends of the stocks are used to provide scholarships to needy and qualified students.


    Aznive Etinoff Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1982 by Mr. Nedko S. Etinoff in honor of his late wife, Aznive. This scholarship supports needy and qualified students, preferably of Bulgarian origin.


    Barakat-Sawabini Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2004 by Mr. George Barakat in honor of his parents, his late wife, and her parents and brother. This scholarship supports needy and qualified Palestinian or students of Arabic speaking origin.


    Bashar Hassan Khayat Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2004 in honor of Mr. Khayat by his family. The scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Bliss Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1925, by Professor Jewett and his wife, in honor of AUB's Dr. Daniel Bliss. This scholarship, named after Dr. Bliss, intends to financially assist the many qualified students who are not able to afford attending AUB. Dr. Bliss was the Founder and first president of the Syrian Protestant College, which later became the American University of Beirut.


    Boodai Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2004 to support qualified students in need.


    C. R. Whittlesey Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1979 by Professor Jamshed K.S Ghadi to honor the memory of Mr. C. R. Whittlesey. Born in 1900, C.R. Whittlesey spent three years at AUB from 1921 to 1924 teaching at the then school of Business, and pursuing a masters degree in economics.


    C.V. Starr Endowed Scholarship Fund
    The Starr Foundation was established in 1955 by Corneilus Vander Starr, and it has been a generous benefactor to many colleges and universities globally. This scholarship was established in 1997 by the Foundation with the intent to support qualified students in need.


    Charles Hagopian Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1987 after the death of Mr. Charles Hagopian. This scholarship supports students qualified Lebanese- Armenian students in need.


    Chinyeh Hostler Endowed Scholarship
    Established by the widow of the late Mr. Charles Hostler, Mrs. Chinyeh Hoslter, in August 2017 to support qualified students in need from either the United States of American or countries in the Far East.


    Clapp-Constan Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1970 after the death of Ms. Elenor Clapp. She has bequeath part of her estate to AUB in honor of Professor Nicholas D. Constance, Department of Chemistry. This scholarship supports needy and qualified students.


    Class Reunion Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2003, the funds raised during class reunions created a scholarship to support qualified students in need.


    ​​Cleartag-Mirum Endowed Scholarship
    Established in April 2017 by the CEO of the Cleartag-Mirum Company to support qualified and needy AUB students majoring in Graphic Design or in Computer Science.


    Computer Science Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in February 2018 to support undergraduate student(s) pursuing a degree in Computer Science who demonstrate(s) financial need and are in good academic standing, as evaluated by the AUB Office of Financial Office.


    Constantine Zurayk Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1952 by Mrs. Marie El-Khoury in the name of Dr. Constantine Zurayk to support needy and qualifies students studying in the following majors: Philosophy, Political Science, Education, Sociology, Economics, or Psychology.


    Daniel & Emily Oliver Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1978 by The Daniel and Emily Oliver Orphanages in memory of Mr. Daniel and Mrs. Emily Oliver. The scholarship was made for qualified and promising Lebanese female undergraduate students in need of financial assistance to pursue their degree.


    Daniel Bliss Scholarship
    Established in 2000 by the Daniel Bliss Society in honor of Dr. Daniel Bliss, AUB's founder and first president.  The Daniel Bliss Society was established in 1986.  This scholarships supports qualified students in need.


    David A. Fuleihan Endowed Scholarship
    Mr. David A. Flueihan bequeath a portion of his estate to AUB to support needy and qualified students.


    David S. Dodge Arabic Fund
    Established in 2010 in honor of  Mr. David Dodge is the great-grandson of Daniel Bliss and son of AUB President Bayard Dodge. Mr. David Dodge served as President of AUB from 1996 to 1997.to support needy and qualified American students studying at AUB.


    David S. Dodge Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1998 in honor of David S. Dodge to support needy and qualified full time students. Mr. David Dodge is the great-grandson of Daniel Bliss and son of AUB President Bayard Dodge. Mr. David Dodge served as President of AUB from 1996 to 1997.


    Dean Robert Najemy Endowed Scholarship
    Established in February 1976 during the ceremonial services in memory of Dean Robert Najemy. The scholarship was established by Dean Najemy's beloved family, friends, and colleagues. The scholarship  support qualified students in need.


    Doris Dodge Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2002 in honor of Doris Dodge to support qualified students in need.


    Dorothy H. Rogers Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1972 by Dr. William Lister Rogers in honor of his late wife Dorothy. Mrs. Rogers was a prominent and devoted friend of the AUB community, and a member of the Board of Trustees. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Douma Ladies Charitable Society Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1994 to support qualified students in need who are born and raised in Douma, Lebanon.


    Dr. Adnan and Mrs. Vesta Dajani Endowed Scholarship
    Established in October 2018 by Dr. Adnan and Mrs. Vesta Dajani to support financially needy Palestinian students with a preference for those enrolled at the school of nursing and Faculty of Medicine.


    Dr. Afif and Mrs. Zamzam Abdulwahab Scholarship
    Established in 2003 by the Abdul-Wahab family in honor of the distinguished alumni Dr. Afif Adbul Wahab to support needy and qualified students studying pre-med or in the Faculty of Medicine.


    Dr. Albert Kuran Dubai Alumni Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2014 in honor of Dr. Albert Kuran by the WAAAUB Dubai Alumni to support qualified students in need pursuing a degree in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. 


    Dr. Fadlo Raji Abu-Haydar Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2005 by Dr. Fadlo Abu Haydar to support students studying in the Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Abu Haydar is an Associate Professor in Internal Medicine and  AUB graduate (MED '52).


    Dr. Fady and Mrs. Roula Dalloul Sharara Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2009 by Dr. Fady and Mrs. Roula Dalloul Sharara to provide financial support to two medical students. Dr. Fady received his B.S in Chemistry in 1982, and his M.D in 1986 from the American University of Beirut. He was on the Dean’s honor list during his premedical and medical studies.,  Dr Sharara is the founder and Medical Director for the Virginia Center for Reproductive Medicine (VCRM), headquartered in Reston, VA.


    Dr. Farahe Maloof Medical Endowed Scholarship
    Established by Dr. Maloof, who was awarded the Said Akl prize in 1963 after having given two lectures at AUB based on his research and experiments for the diagnosis and treatment of different diseases that affect the thyroid gland. Upon his return to Boston, Dr. Maloof arranged a dinner with the Cedars Club, a group of Lebanese individuals residing in Boston.  Dr. Maloof and this group provided the funds to establish the scholarship which helps support needy and qualified students studying in the School of Medicine.


    Dr. Farouk S. Idriss Endowed Medical Scholarship
    Established in 1999, by Mrs. Lorrain Idriss Ball on behalf of her late husband Dr. Farouk S. Idriss B.Sc., MD. This scholarship supports needy and qualified Lebanese medical students.


    Dr. Fuad and Alice Trabulsi Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1992 by Dr. Fuad and Mrs. Alice Trabulsi, this scholarship supports needy and qualified AUB students.


    Dr. Gebran and Mrs. Salma Farah Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2007 by Dr. Gebran M. Farah in honor of himself and his late wife Mrs. Salma Farah, to provide scholarship for a Lebanese Nursing student at the Nursing School of AUB. The scholarship is to be granted to students with outstanding academic performance who demonstrate need for financial assistance.


    Dr. Georges Fakhoury Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1998, to support the tuition of qualified students in need.


    Dr. Harry G. Dorman Scholarship
    Established in 1962 by the Dorman Family in honor of their father Dr. Harry G. Dorman. The Dorman's have strong ties to Lebanon, and especially to AUB. This scholarship supports qualified students who are in need.


    Dr. Jean Moadie Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2003 through the Estate of the late Dr. Jean Moadie, BA '43, MD '47. Dr. Moadie was himself a scholarship recipient, and in recognition and appreciation of this privilege, he wanted to give back to his alma mater. This scholarship supports qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Medicine. 


    Dr. John I. Mirhij Scholarship
    Established in 1992 by Dr. Mirhji's daughter Dr. Najwa Mirhji-Shammas and her husband Dr. Hanna Shammas in honor of her father who was a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Biology, he retired in 1972. This scholarship supports qualified students in financial need from Dhour El-Chwair.


    Dr. Joseph Yammine Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1981, after the contribution of Dr. Joseph Yammine to AUB's Faculty of Medicine to financially support students in the Faculty. The "Moral loan," as Dr. Yammine called it, is merited to Lebanese students from the Mount Lebanon area.  The scholarship is awarded as based on financial need and academic performance. 


    Dr. Maurice H. Bisharat Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1999, and awarded to qualified medical students in need.


    Dr. Michael A. Shadid Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1958, by alumni Dr. Michael Shadid to help and support needy and qualified students.


    Dr. Mohammad Chatah Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2014 by Dr. Nadim Mounla and his friends in honor of the life, legacy, and memory of the alumnus Dr. Mohammad Chatah. The scholarship supports the tuition of Lebanese students from North Lebanon who demonstrate financial need and who are in good academic standing. Applicants should be pursuing their undergraduate studies in Economics, International Relations, Political Science, or Public Administration. 


    Dr. Muhammad Hijazi and Mrs. Nuha Mikdashi Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2012 by Mrs. Nuha Mikdashi in honor of her late husband and AUB alumnus Dr. Muhammad Hijazi. This scholarship supports needy and qualified orphaned students.


    Dr. Naji Sahyoun Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2003 at AUB by friends and beloved ones, after the distinguished alumnus Dr. Naji Sahyoun. The scholarship was to be granted to a needy Medical student who shows outstanding performance.


    Dr. Osama Elansari Endowed Scholarship
    Established in September 2013 by Ms. Lana Elansari and her sisters in honor of the life and memory of their parents Dr. Osama Elansari and Mrs. Ibtissam Akkad Elansari. It supports the tuition of Syrian students who demonstrate financial need and who are studying at the Olayan School of Business.


    Dr. Randa Antoun Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2014 by The Antoun Family in the memory of Dr. Randa Antoun. The scholarship is awarded to students who are majoring in PSPA at the Faculty of Arts & Sciences at AUB.


    Dr. Salim Musalli Pasha Scholarship
    Established as part of his will he bequathed a sum or money to AUB to create and endowment to provide scholarships to students in need. Dr. Salim Musalli Pasha graduated from AUB in 1875, then went on to study medicine in America.


    Dr. Samia J. Khoury and Dr. Mohamed H. Sayegh Endowed Scholarship
    Established in August 2017 by Dr. Samia J. Khoury and Dr. Mohamed H. Sayegh to support the tuition of a qualified student in need pursuing their degree in the Faculty of Medicine.


    Dr. Sami Kabbani Endowed Scholarship
    Established in January 2018 by Dr. Nader Kabbani in honor of his late fatehr Dr. Sami Kabbani to support the tuition of Syrian students majoring in the Faculty of Medicine who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.


    Dr. Samuel White Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1960 by Dr. Samuel E. White (Waheed) to support needy and qualified Lebanese students. In addition to establishing a scholarship, Dr. White and his wife bequeth their entire estate to establishing an endownment to continue to provide financial assistance to students at AUB.


    Dr. Shahrokh Mokhtari Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2010 by the family and friends of the late Dr. Shahrokh Mokhtari to support qualified Iranian students in need preferably pursuing their degrees in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    Dr. William Carslaw Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1926 to support qualified students in need.


    Dr. Yakub Inati Scholarship
    Established in 1982 by the family of Dr. Yakub Inati. This scholarship benefits Lebanese students studying in the Faculty of Medicine.


    Dr. Yusuf K. Hitti Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1979, through the proceeds of the Hitti Medical Dictionary. This scholarship supports needy and qualified medical students.


    Drs. Abdullah and Daoud Sulaiman Kassir Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in December 2017 to support one or more eligible AUB student on a good academic standing, with primary preference to students from Mosul, Iraq and other Northern areas in Iraq.


    E. Maxine Bruhns Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2006 by Mrs. Maxine Bruhns to support needy and qualified Palestinian students. Mrs. Bruhns completed her M.A. in Education at AUB in 1945, before returning to the US with her husband, where she worked as the Director of Nationality Rooms and Intercultural Exchange Programs at the University of Pittsbugh. Mrs. Bruhns is a well known advocate of Palestinians. 


    Eileen Page Medical Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1974 by AUB Trustee Howard W. Page and his wife Mrs. Eileen Page. Mrs. Page comes from a long line of medical professionals, and the fund was established to qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Medicine.


    Eissa A. Bateh and Brothers Foundation Scholarship
    Established in 1971 by Mr. Eissa A. Bateh to support qualified Palestinian students in need.


    Elias A. Husni Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2000, by Dr. Elias Husni to help exceptional students from North Lebanon.


    Elias and Shirine Matta Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2004 by the Matta Family, specifically Nadim, Shirine, and Khalil., who are the children of Mr. Fadil Khalil Matta. The family has strong ties to AUB, as Mr. Fadil and his son Nadim are AUB graduates.  This scholarships supports needy and qualified students from  Bhamdoun.


    Elie Khouri Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2015 by Mr. Elie Khoury to support qualified students in need pursuing a degree in Media studies.


    Elsa and Stanley Kerr Scholarship
    Established in 1985. Mrs. Elsa Kerr had bequeathed funds from her estate to AUB to be used for a scholarship fund.  Mrs. Elsa Kerr left a note attached to her will stating that she wanted the scholarship to be used to support nursing students in honour of her sister, Laura Reckman who spent her lifetime in nursing and nursing education. The scholarship supports needy and qualified nursing students.


    Emile and Helen Chartouni Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2010 by Mr. Nabil Chartouni in honor of his parents Emile and Helen Chartouni to support qualified students in need. The scholarship provides full tuition coverage.  Recipients of this scholarship receive 80% financial support for their tuition, of which 30% is a loan to be returned upon graduation to provide support for future recipients of the scholarship.   The remaining 20% is provided through a work-study program.


    Enno and Hildegard Ercklentz Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2002 by Alexander T. Ercklentz in the name of his parents, Enno and Hildegard Ercklentz. Alexander has been a trustee emeritus since 2012 and trustee since 1989.The scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Fadil and Nijmeh Khalil Matta Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1993 by the Matta Family, specifically Nadim, Shirine, and Khalil., who are the children of Mr. Fadil Khalil Matta. The family has strong ties to AUB, as Mr. Fadil and his son Nadim are AUB graduates.  This scholarship supports needy and qualified students from  Bhamdoun.


    Fadwa Nassif Taleb Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1988 by Dr. Nazih J. Taleb, Dar Al Handasah Nazih Taleb and Partners, in honor of his mother, Mrs. Fadwa Nassif Taleb. This scholarship supports qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    FAFS 50Th Anniversary Graduate Student Endowed Fund
    Established in 2002 by the FAFS 50th Anniversary Committee, and funded by the generosity of friends and alumni. This scholarship supports qualified graduate students in need studying in the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences at AUB.


    Faisal AlMutawa Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1990 by Mr. Faisal Al Mutawa to support qualified students in need studying at the School of Business.


    Farid I. Haurani Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016 based on the last will and testament of Dr. Farid I. Haurani.  This scholarship supports qualified students in need of either Palestinian, Lebanese, and/or American origin students pursuing their education at AUB.


    Farid Sa'd Graduate Endowed Scholarship in Science-Technology
    Established in 1968, by Mr. Farid Sa'd, who is an AUB graduate himself, to support qualified but financially needy graduate Arab students of Sciences or Technologies, to continue their higher studies and research at AUB.


    Faris S. Malouf Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1958, by the committee of Syrian and Lebanese American Federation to honor Mr. Farris Malouf, being one of its most distinguished leaders. The scholarship is awarded to exceptional students from various Arab countries who arte qualified and in need. 


    Farouk and Amal Jabre Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016 by Trustee Farouk Jabre and his wife Amal to support qualified students in need.


    Farouk W. Agha Scholarship
    Established in 1988 by Farouk W. Agha to support qualified and needy students in the following disciplines; Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Health Sciences, and Nursing.


    Fathi Hamze Endowed Scholarship

    Fawwaz Ulaby Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2015 by Dr. Fawwaz Ulaby (AUB BS Physics 1964) to support undergraduate students majoring in Physics. Dr. Fawwaz Ulaby is a professor of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He was the founding Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). 


    MSFEA Class of 1964 Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2002, upon a reunion dinner of MSFEA 64 classmates, a MSFEA Class of 64 Scholarship at AUB. This scholarship was made to financially support the new generation of qualified MSFEA students who show financial need.


    MSFEA Class of 1966 Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016 as part of the 50th reunion of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture graduating class of 1966.  This scholarship supports qualified students in need pursuing a degree in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    Farouk Kamal Endowed Scholarship

    Established in April 2019 by Mr. Farouk Kamal to support needy students with a preference for those enrolled at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business at AUB



    Fingerprints Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2002 by students for students. It is a program by the Office of Development in close coordination with the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs.  The objective behind the fingerprints program is to encourage graduating students to become involved alumni who support their alma mater. This scholarship supports qualified students in need. 


    Francis Asbury Palmer Scholarship Fund
    Established in in 1995 to support qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Arts and Science.


    Frank H. Teagle. Jr.  Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2013, this scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Fuad Es-Said Scholarship
    Established in 1964 by Mr. Fuad Es-Said BA '28.   Mr. Es-Said was a successful businessman, most notably in the management of the Jordanian Tobacco and Cigarette Company and for the Jordanian Refinery Co.  He established this scholarship to support Lebanese male students pursuing their degree at either the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the Olayan School of Business, or the Faculty of Arts and Science.


    Fuad Muhsin Afnan Memorial Fund
    Established in 1971 by Dr. Soheil Afnan (BA '23) in honor of his younger brother Fuad Muhsin Afna, who was killed during the London Blitz in World War 2. This scholarship supports qualified Bahai students in need.


    Fuad Nakhleh Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1989 by Mr. Fuad Nakhleh, this scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Gaza Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1971 to support qualified students in need.


    General-Centennial
    Established in 1966 in honor of the University's Centennial Anniversary in 1966, to support qualified students in need studying at the university.


    General Wissam Al Hassan Endowed Scholarship in Computer and Communication Engineering

    Established in November 2018 by members of Wissam Al Hassan Foundation to support financially needy students with a preference for those enrolled at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture majoring in Computer & Communications Engineering

     


    George and Alexandra Fattouh Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2014 by Mr. George Fattouh and his wife Alexandra. The scholarship supports the tuition of Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need, who are in good academic standing and are pursuing their undergraduate in business studies at the Olayan School of Business.


    George Faris Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1988, by the AUB's class of 1987 in the name of the late Dr. Georges F. Faris. The scholarship is to be awarded to a Medical IV student.


    Georges Makhoul Endowed Scholarship

    Established in April 2019 by Dr. George Makhoul to support financially needy students with a preference for those enrolled at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at AUB



    George Issa Hazbun Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1990, by Mr. Albert Hazboun, an AUB graduate of 1959 with a degree in Engineering, in honor of his late father Mr. Georges Issa Hazbun. The fund is intended to financially support a needy Palestinian student, preferably a female, pursuing degree at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at AUB. 


    George K. Farah Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2012 by the family of the late Mr. George K. Farah. This scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Ghassan and Manal Saab Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2004, by Mr. Ghassan BE Civil '66 and his wife Mrs. Manal Saab. This scholarship supports qualified Druze students in need.


    Gladys Brooks Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1996, by the Gladys Brooks foundation, which was created under the will of the late Gladys Brooks Thayer of New York. The scholarship provides financial support for qualified and needy American nationals studying at AUB. The scholarship is to be granted to students of leadership and academic ability, who are majoring in liberal arts, mathematics, or sciences. 


    Gordon H. Ward Scholarship
    Established in 1993,by the Gordon H. Ward Trust, upon the will of Professor Gordon H. Ward and his wife Mrs. Margaret M. Ward. The scholarship endows the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences work-learning scholarships in the fields of agricultural economics, rural sociology, and extension work, so to assist in the  expenses for deserving students who are committed to working in the development of agriculture in the countries of the Middle East following graduation. 


    Graduate Regional Scholarships-Ford Foundation Match
    Established in 2007 to support graduate students.  All donations into this fund were matched by the Ford Foundation.


    H. Morton Esty Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1927 by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Esty to support qualified Baha'i students in need.


    H.H. Mar Ignatius Zakka Iwas Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2010, by the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church, through his holiness Moran Mar Ignatius Zakka I Iwas. The scholarship is to support students who demonstrate financial need and who are in good academic standing.


    Habib B. Yared Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1953, by Mr. Habib B. Yared to support economically needy but academically qualified Lebanese AUB students, preferably from his hometown Rashaya or its vicinity. This scholarship was renamed as a memorial after Mr. Yared's death, as based on his wis wish. Mr. Yared was a reciever of AUB's scholarships as he studied at AUB, when he graduated he wanted to repay his former Alma Mater through establishing this scholarship. 


    Hanna Bisharat Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1972, by Mr. Victor Bisharat in memory of his late father Mr. Hanna Bisharat. The scholarship is intended to help qualified yet needy Middle Eastern students pursue their studies at AUB.


    Hanna Said Choulji Scholarship
    Established in March 1965, after the death of Hanna Said Choulji when he bequeathed a large sum to set up and endowed scholarship at AUB. Hanna Said Choulgi was a young and poor Syrian form Aleppo, who emigrated to the United States for a  better future.


    Harold B. Hoskins Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1981, by Mrs. Grania Hoskins in memory of her late husband Mr. Harold B. Hoskins. Mr. Hoskins was the former Chairman of the AUB Board of Trustees (1948-1954), he was also the Chairman of the Board of Lingnon University in Canton - Chine, in addition, he was former director of the Foreign Service Institute of the US Department of State. Mr. Harold was born in Beirut and had a life-long interest in the Arab World and was considered an expert in the Middle Eastern Affairs. This scholarship after Mr. Harold was made open to needy and eligible students studying at AUB. 


    Hassan Husseini – Eastern Province Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2014 in honor of the memory of Mr. Hassan Ibrahim Husseini. The scholarship supports needy and qualified students pursuing their studies at AUB.


    Hassan Smadi Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2014. The endowed scholarship supports needy and qualified students pursuing their studies at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    Hazar - AUB Development Scholarship
    In 1992, a directory of alumni for the period 1870-1991 was published in close cooperation with Hazar Graphics.  Hazar Graphics, which is owned by three AUB Amunmi, underwrote the total costs of publication allowing all proceeds from sales to be used to establish a schoalrship.  The  scholarship supports needy and qualified students. 


    Hazel Reed Baumeister Trust Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2002 to support qualified students in need.


    Hazimeh S. Rasi Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1969, based on the will of Mrs. Lucy Blades Rasi,  in memory of her husband Mr. Hazimeh S. Rasi. The scholarship was made open to all academically qualified students whose financial circumstances stand against them pursuing a degree form AUB. 


    Helene Hanna Ayoub Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2011 by Mr. Hanna Ayoub in memory of his mother, Mrs. Helene Hanna Ayoub. This scholarship supports qualified students in need. Candidates for the scholarship should be pursuing their undergraduate business studies in Art at the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.


    HH Shaikh Khaled Bin Hamad Al-Thani Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1998, by his highness, the former Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Thani, to financially support qualified students studying at AUB.


    HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1998 by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi. This scholarship supports qualified studnets in need.


    HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi Endowed Scholarship for FHS-Ford Foundation Match
    Established in 2008. The scholarship supports needy Arab students in the Faculty of Health and Sciences department.

    Established in 2008 to support needy Arab students in the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences department.


    Howard W. Page Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1968, by Mr. Howard W. Page to support academically qualified and financially needy Engineering and Architecture students at AUB.


    HRH Prince Talal Ben Abdel Aziz Endowed Scholarship

    Established in 1998, by his Royal Highness Prince Talal Ben Abdel Aziz Al Saud. This scholarship is to be granted to full-time registered students in financial need who show good academic performance.​


    Imad Taher Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2015 by Mr. Imad Taher to support qualified students in need studying at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    Intermedic (Jean Farah & Co.) Sal Scholarship
    Established in 1991, under the name of Intermedic (Jean Farah & Co.) SAL, by Mr. Philip, Michel, and Pierre Farah, three AUB graduates of the school of Pharmacy and of the Faculty of Engineering. The scholarship is intended to support Lebanese students who have very good academic performance, but are uncapable of meeting tuition fees. The students have to be majoring in the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, or Engineering and Architecture.


    J.J. Arakelyan Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1923 based on the will of the late Mr. Jacob J. Arakelyan. The scholarship is to support qualified yet needy students, preference given to Armenians, pursuing their studies at AUB.


    Jabir Shibli Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1953, by Dr. Jabir Sibli, an AUB graduate of 1904. The scholarship was intended to financially support qualified students from Bteghrine, Mr. Shibli's hometown, pursue their studies at AUB.


    Jacques A. Nasser Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2004, by Mr. Jacque A. Nasser to financially aid qualified but needy MBA students and OSB students at AUB.


    Jamile Dagher Jureidini Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1991, by Mr. Wadih S. Jordan (Jureidini), an AUB alumnus of 1957 in memory of Ms. Jamilee Dagher Jureidini. Mr. Jureidini dedicated the scholarship to AUB students with good academic performance who are eager to learn and work hard, and who show financial need. 


    Job Fair Committee Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2003, by the Job Fair Committee at AUB. The scholarship aimed to aid competent students who show financial need to pay the tuitions of their degrees.


    John Miskoff Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1972 to support qualified students in need.


    Joseph Asmar Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1981, after Dr. Joseph Asmar's death, his colleagues, friends, and aquaintances launched a scholarship at AUB in his memory. Financially needy and academically qualified students at the Faculty of Agriculture ane Food Sciences are to benefit from this scholarship to obtain a university education.  


    Julia Dodge Rea Scholarship
    Established in 1938 to support qualified female students to pursue and education at AUB.


    Julia Ziadeh Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1966, based on the estate of Mrs. Rose H. Ziadi, in memory of her late beloved mother Mrs. Julia Ziadi. The scholarship assists worthy students at AUB who show need for financial aid.


    Kamal and Nuha Hemady Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2007, by Mr. Kamal Hemady. The scholarship is specified for a Medical student at the level of second or higher year of medicine. The student should be in financial need of the scholarship and of the top 50% of his/her class.


    Kamel Abdelrahman Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2013, by the Kamel Abdelrahman Education Fund for Palestinian students from the refugee camps, or any Palestinian students of great financial need, to pursue their degrees at AUB. Recipient students should show good academic performance.


    Kamel Dajani Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1987, by Mazen Dajani, an AUB alumnus of Business Administration of 1958, in honor of his late father Mr. Kamel Dajani who loved education. The scholarship was made in favor of a qualified student of Palestinian origins who shows financial need.


    Karagulla Endowed Scholarship
    Established in April 2008 by Mr. Karim Karagulla, General Manager of Karagulla Engineering and Contracting Company, Lebanon. This scholarship support qualified engineering students in financial need.


    Karim Habre Endowed Scholarship
    Established in March 2010 by the family of Karim Habre to honor the life and memory of Karim Habre, who was an AUB student at the time of his death.


    Karim W. and Dora Nasser Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1968, by Dr. and Mrs. Karim W. Nasser, a Professor Emeritus in Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, to assist deserving students who need financial help to complete their education at the University. Dr. and Mrs. Nasser established this scholarship as they felt indebted to the AUB for its significant contribution towards their education, as Dr. Karim graduated in 1949 with a BS in Civil Engineering, and towards the general renaissance and welfare of the Middle East area. 


    Kasim O. Ardati and Najah R. Zayyani Endowed Scholarship
    Established in October 2018 by Mr. Amer Ardati in honor of his parents to support financially needy  and qualified undergraduate student pursuing  his/her studies at AUB. 


    Khadijah Sabahat Kahhalet Takieddine Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2011, by Dr. Fayez Nassib Takieddine to aid academically qualified young female Syrian students with limited financial resources, providing them with the opportunity to attend AUB.


    Khaled El-Yashruti Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in December 1970, by Dr. Yashruti and other doctors in memory of Dr. Khaled El-Yashruti, a former AUB graduate. The scholarship benefits qualified Medical students majoring at AUB who show need for financial aid.


    Khalil Bsheer Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1988, by Mr. Jirji Bsheer, on behalf of his family, in the memory of his late brother Mr. Khalil Bsheer. The scholarship was made to support qualified students at AUB who meet the University's criteria for financial assistance. The students would preferably be from Kfarhata or Al Koura. 


    Khalil Tabet Memorial Endowed Fund
    Established in 1970, by Mr. Samir Thabet in the memory of his late father Mr. Khalil Pasha Thabet, who was an AUB graduate of the class of 1892, a member of the faculty from 1893 to 1897, and a former president of the Cairo Branch of the Alumni Association. For Mr. Khalil's interests in political thought, journalism, and arabic letters, Mr. Samir designated this scholarship to qualified but financially needy Lebanese students in the Arts section of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. 


    Khushroo N. J. Patel Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    stablished in January 2006 by Mr. Mohammad Attar,to honor his former alumnus and friend Mr. Khushroo Patel. Mr. Khushroo attended AUB, Class of 1970, and graduated with honors at the top of his class. In addition to Mr. Attar, a number of other Dr.s in the US helped raise funds to assist Mr. Attar and Mrs. Hanan Patel, Mr. Patel's wife, in this initiative. The founders of the scholarship designated it to financially needy and academically qualified students, preferably in the fields of Geology or Mathematics at AUB.


    Lina Naaman Azhari Endowed Scholarship
    Established at AUB in 2006 to support academically qualified students in need of additional financial assistance.


    LNI - AUB Endowed Graduate Scholarship
    Established in 2015 though the support of the Lebanese Nigerian Initiative.  This funds provides support to Nigerian students pursuing a Masters degree at the Olayan School of Business.


    Louise L. Massabki Fellowship-Scholarship
    Established in June 1978, upon the will of late Mrs. Louise L. Massabki. This scholarship financially supports academically qualified graduate Medical students in their studies at AUB. Mrs. Massabki restricted the scholarship to students citizens of Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, or Turkey. 


    Magida El-Roumi Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2012 through the sale of CD's from the Majida El-Roumi concert held at AUB.  This scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Mahmoud Dalal Endowed Scholarship
    Established in May 2008 in the name of Mahmoud Dalal who is an AUB Alumnus (BE Civ.'73) and major donor; Dalal is the CEO of Specialized Contracting Co.(SCC) in Jeddah, a general contracting company for private and public projects in the Saudi Arabia.


    Makram Ghassan Tweini Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1988, by His Excellency Mr. Ghassan Tweini, to support Lebanese Business Administration or Economics undergraduate and graduate students, as based on their academic qualification and financial need.


    Malcolm H. Kerr Memorial Scholarship
    Established in July 1984, to honor the late Dr. Malcolm H. Kerr, a former President, scholar, and university leader of AUB. was assassinated on January 18, 1984, during the Lebanese civil war. The recipient students of this scholarship are selected on basis of academic excellence, promise of success, high motivation, and financial need. 


    Malcolm Kerr Aid
    In July 1985, after the decision of the Agency of International Development to terminate the Participant Training Program at AUB, remaining funds were provided by the USAID to create the Malcolm H. Kerr Scholarship Program (AID), so to honor this former President, scholar, and university leader of AUB. The recipient students of this scholarship are selected on basis of academic excellence, promise of success, high motivation, and financial need. They should also come from the countries already listed in the Participant Training Program. 


    Maloof Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1999 by the Maloof Family to support qualified students in need. Priorities is given to students from the Maloof family.


    Mamdouha El-Sayed Bobst Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016, as part of the last will and testament of the late Mrs. Mamdouha El-Sayed Bobst.  This scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Mamdouha El-Sayed Bobst Scholarship Fund
    Established in December 2014, by The Elmer & Mamdouha Bobst Foundation Inc. to assist qualifed students in need to pursue their degrees. Recipients should be from North Lebanon and must have good academic performance and show financial need.


    Maria Aziz Scholarship
    Established in 1970 by Mr. Jorge Aziz in the name of his mother, Mrs. Maria Aziz. It is open to students pursuing any field of study at AUB. The recipients are selected according to the following order giving priority to students from Jezzine, then South Lebanon and finally from Lebanon at large. It is preferable if the recipients return the money to the Fund whenever their economic condition permit. 


    Marie El-Khoury Scholarship in Fine Arts
    Established in October 1958, after the execution of the late Mrs. Marie El-Khoury's will, a Lebanese born American and wife of Mr. Issa El-Khoury, a former writer and editor for Arabic language newspapers in New York city. The scholarship encourages students in fine arts majors as it provides assistance to worthy students, who need financial help, interested in literature, music, painting, and sculpture. 


    Marwan and Lynne Muasher Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2011 by Dr. Marwan and Mrs. Lynne Muasher. The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarships on an annual basis to a Jordanian student or students until he or she graduates maintaining an average of 70 or higher on an annual basis.


    Mary and Archie S. Crawford Scholarship
    Established in 1984 by John Crawford, Molly Potter, and Alice C. Nicolson, the children of Mary and Archie Crawford in honor of their parents lives, Mary and Archie S. Crawford. The scholarship honor their parents lives in Beirut, specifically the time they spent as part of the AUB and IC community. This scholarship supports students studying humanities.


    Mary Bajada Memorial Scholarship for Women
    Established in 1985, by friends and colleagues of Mary Bajada. The scholarship is restricted to support qualified women or women students who lack financial resources to study at this University, was a tribute to the woman who gave her time and talents to further the purpose and objectives of AUB. 


    Matiel Mogannam Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2005, by Ms. Ihsan Leila Mogannam. The scholarship intends to help academically qualified and financially needy students who are residents of Palestine attend AUB.


    Maysoon Akrawi Dowling Scholarship
    Established in 2002, by Mrs. Maysoon Akrawi Dowling, an AUB graduate of 1961 and a Treasurer of Sawgrass Seacost Management Corporation. The scholarship aids financially needy Arab students, with priority given to students from Iraq, studying at AUB.


    Medical Alumni Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1972, by the Medical Alumni Chapter. The scholarship intends to aid students in the school of medicine. Recipient students should have good academic record and should show financial need.


    Michael N. Malouf Endowed Scholarship
    Established in December 1964, according to the will of the late Mr. Michael Najem Ma'louf. The scholarship intends to financially aid a Ma'louf young man or woman. If a qualified Ma'louf candidate is not available, the grant should be to a Lebanese student. In both cases, students should be FAS students, chosen on basis of worth, need, and character. 


    Michel Alexandre Namour Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2005, by Mrs. Barbara Nammour, a former AUB alumna in memory of her late husband Mr. Michel. Mr. Namour was a director of RIMSS Corporation, Vice President of Morgan Guaranty Trust Co., President of J.P. Morgan Overseas Capital Corporation, in addition to other posts he held throughout his life. Mrs. Namour designated this scholaraship to financaially challenged Lebanese students who are studying at AUB and maintaining an average of 80 or above.  


    Mohamad Ali Zameli and Dina Tabbara Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2010 by Mr. Zameli, an AUB alumnus, to support academically gifted and financially needy students at AUB.


    Mohamad S. Dimashkieh Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2011, by Mr. Saad Dimashkieh in honor of the memory of his son, Mohamad Dimashkieh. The scholarship supports needy and qualified Lebanese Muslim students in the Olayan School of Business. 


    Mohammad Hassan El-Chaar Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 2015 in memory of Mohammad Hassan El- Chaar. The Mohammad Hassan Al Chaar Memorial Scholarship granted by the Wissam Al Hassan Foundation is distributed on a yearly basis to qualfied students in need who ranked between 6 and 15 in the Lebanese Official Baccalaureate Exams.


    Morris Janowitz Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1998 to afford the opportunity for the very bright and capable young men and women who are qualified and in need to receive an AUB education.


    Mounir R. Sa'adah Endowed Scholarship
    Established in December, 2011 by The Near East Scholarship Fund in memory of Mr. Mounir R. Sa'adah. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide support on an annual basis to one or more AUB students.  The scholarship supports at least one undergraduate, eligible, AUB student from the time he/she joins AUB until he/she graduates, provided to maintain an average of 70 or higher on an annual basis.


    Mr. and Mrs. Mustafa Jundi Scholarship Fund
    Established in March 1993, by Mr. Nafez Jundi who is an AUB alumnus and owner of Saudi Diyar and United Construction, to support students in the Faculty of Engineering and Arcitecture, the School of Business, and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The scholarship is awarded on basis of need and merit; merit being as "student in good standing," with prefernce given to students form Tripoli and from the North of Lebanon.

    Established in 1994 by Dr. Naji N. Abumrad, in honor of his father. The scholarship supports qualified students at the Faculty of Medicine who show need for financial support.


    Mrs. Annie and Dr. Munir Nasr Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2005 by Dr. Munir Nasr, a scholarship that financially aids students from the town of Hamana. Preference of aid is given to students in the Faculty of Medicine, and the recipient students must be academically competent and in need of this financial aid. 


    Mrs. Daniel Bliss Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1925, by Professor Jewett and his wife to financially assist the many qualified students who are not able to afford attending this University. Reverend Dr. Daniel Bliss II was the grandson of Dr. Daniel Bliss, the founder of AUB and its President from 1866 till 1902, and the son of Dr. Howard S. Bliss, the President of AUB from 1902 to 1920. 


    Mrs. Ibtissam Akkad Elansari Endowed Scholarship
    Established in September 2013 by Ms. Lana Elansari and her sisters in honor of the life and memory of their parents Dr. Osama Elansari and Mrs. Ibtissam Akkad Elansari. It supports the tuition of Syrian students who demonstrate financial need and who are in good academic standing. Candidates for the scholarship should be pursuing their undergraduate business studies in Art at the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.


    Muneef Assaf Farah Endowed Scholarship
    Established in April 1972, by Mr. Muneef Assaf Farah. The scholarship is awarded to qualified Lebanese AUB students from Jbeil who show financial need.


    Murex Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2008 by Murex Services Sal. to support Lebanese AUB students studying at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.  Student who benefit from this scholarship have the opportunity to participate in Murex's summer internship program. Murex Services Sal is a leader in proposing effective technology as a catalyst for growth and innovation in capital markets.


    Musa and Amal Freiji Endowed Scholarship
    Established in November 2007 by the Freiji Family in honor of their parents, Musa and Amla Freiji. The scholarship supports Lebanese stundents majoring in the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences or the Department of Education, who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing. 


    Nada Debs Endowed Scholarship
    Established in June 2017 to partially support the tuition fees of a minimum of two financially needy and acdemically talented female students in any field of study.


    Najeeb N. Meshaka Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2010, to enable academically gifted and financially needy Lebanese students to attend AUB.


    Nazih and May Taleb Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1992 to support qualified students in need pursuing degrees in either architecture, biology, or physics.


    Nerces and Diana Dermenjian Endowed Scholarship
    Established in November 2017 to support Lebanese female students majoring in the Humanities (Philosophy and History majors). Students should have a good academic standing and demonstrates financial need.


    Nicola Ziadeh Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1998 by Mr. Basim and Mr. Raid Ziadeh, named after their father Dr. Nicola A. Ziadeh, AUB Professor Emeritus. This scholarship supports qualified students who are in need.


    Noura Hatem Juffali Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2004 to support qualified students at the Faculty of Medicine, who show financial need.


    Osmane Aidi Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2003 by Dr. Aidi, AUB Trustee, to assist qualified students, preferably Syrian, of AUB who need financial aid.


    Pauline Nadim Makdisi Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1992 by Professor Samir Makdidi, in memory of his late wife Pauline. Dr. Samir was one of the most distinguished members of AUB's faculty, as he taught at the university since 1972. He also chaired the Department of Economics, founded and directed the Institute of Financial Economics, and served for years as AUB's Deputy President. Through this scholarship, Mr. Makdisi intended to financially assist qualified Archeology, History, and other FAS Junior and Senior students in need. 


    Petrofac Endowed Scholarship
    Established in June 2009. Petrofac is a major international gas industry facilities and infrastructure provider. Group Chief Executive.  This scholarship supports students majoring in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering.


    Philip and Mary G Hitti Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1980 to support qualified students in need.


    Pilgrim Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1922. This scholarship was created at the bequest of Ms. Elizabeth Torrey to support qualified students in need.


    President's Fund for Exceptional Scholars
    Established in 2016 to support exceptional students in need.


    Professor Khalil Malouf Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2005 in memory of the late Professor Khalil Malouf. The scholarship is restricted to academically achieving Engineering students who show financial need.


    Professor Maan Z. Madina Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2015 to support qualified Syrian and Palestinian students studying in the Faculty of Arts and Science.


    Professor Nabil and Mrs. Huda Dajani Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016 to support qualfied students in need.


    R. Bayly Winder Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2013 to support qualfied students in need.


    Rafic Hariri Endowed Scholarship for Nursing Students
    Established in 2008 in honor of the late Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri to support needy and qualified students pursuing a degree in nursing. 


    Raja Tannous Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2017 by President Fadlo R. Khuri in honor of his father-in-law Dr. Raja Tannous.  This scholarship supports qualfied students in need.


    Raja Trad Dubai Alumni Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2011, by the members of the Dubai and Northern Emirates Chapter of WAAAUB, that provides financial support needed for qualified students to attend AUB.


    Ramsey U. Sheikh Scholarship
    Established in 1993 by Mrs. Betty Jean Sheikh, Mr. Ramsey U. Sheikh's widow, in loving memory of her late husband. This scholarship, supports academically promising Mechanical Engineering students who show financial need. Mr. Sheikh attended the prep section of the AUB and began his college there, but moved to Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts as AUB was not offering Mechanical Engineering major. Graduating in 1951, Mr. Sheikh became a licensed professional engineer and the holder of several patents for boiler design and manufacturing methods. 


    Ramzi F. Daouk Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1970 by Dr. Fawzi Daouk in memory of his late son Ramzi who died in 1965. Ever since then it has been assisting Civil Engineering students at AUB with their tuition.


    Ramzi Kteily Scholarship
    Established in 1987 by Mr. Ramzi Kteily, an AUB alumnus of 1964 with a BA in Public Administration. The scholarship financially supports Lebanese or Palestinian students, preferably residents of Ras Beirut, at the FAS, School of Nursing, or Faculty of Health Sciences. 


    Ramzi Mohamad Safadi Endowed Scholarship in FAS
    Established in 2008 by H.E. Mr. Mohammad Safadi, this scholarship supports qualified students in need from North Lebanon studying in the Faculty of Arts and Science.


    Ramzi Mohamad Safadi Scholarship in FHS
    Established in 2008 by H.E. Mr. Mohammad Safadi, this scholarship supports qualified students in need from North Lebanon studying in the Faculty of Health Sciences.


    Randa El-Sayed and Naseem Haffar Fingerprints Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2014 by Mrs. Randa El-Sayed Haffar and Mr. Naseem Haffar who were supporters of the Fingerprints program and decided to establish a new endowed scholarship under their names to continue supporting the students in need. The scholarship supports the tuition of any AUB student who demonstrate financial need and who is in good academic standing.


    Ray R. Irani Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1992 by Dr. Ray R. Irani. The scholarship is granted to the top male and female Chemistry students in the Senior year.


    Riad and Hassana Sadik Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1999, by Mr. Riad Sadik to support qualified students in need in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    Rida Irani Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1990 by Dr. Ray Irani in honor of his late father, Mr. Rida Irani. This scholarship supports qualifies students who are in need studying towards a degree in Mathematics.


    Rima Aiko and Maya Farah Makhoul Financial Aid Fund
    Established in 2004 by Mr. George and Mrs. Tammy Makhoul. The scholarship will provide financial aid to one or more students with a minimum average of 72.


    Robert and Myrle Linnell Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2010 by Mrs. Myrle Linnell, in the name of her and her husband Mr. Robert Linnell, to support qualified Palestinian students in need at AUB.


    Roosevilt and Georgette Fattouh Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2007 by Mr. George Fattouh in honor of his parents Roosevelt and Georgette Fattouh. The scholarship supports the tuition of Lebanese Greek Orthodox students who demonstrate financial need, who are in good academic standing, and are pursuing their undergraduate business studies at the Olayan School of Business.


    Ruhi K. Hindawi Endowed Scholarship for Medical Students
    Established in 2006 by Hindawi's family in honor of the late Dr. Ruhi Hindawi. Ruhi was an outstanding physician and a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon. Ruhi was also a teacher. This scholarship support students who are pursuing their careers in medicine. The student benefiting from the scholarship should have an outstanding academic record and be able to demonstrate a need for financial assistance.


    S. M. Minassian Endowed Scholarship
    Established in February 2006, upon the will of the late Mr. Orrie I. Minassian in memory of his late father Mr. S. M. Minassian, and executed by the Near East College Association, Inc. The scholarship supports Armenian students who are in financial need.


    Saadat Hasan Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2010, by Samer S. Hasan & Amer S. Hasan in honor of the memory of their father Saadat Hasan, a prominent career diplomat who worked for the UN on behalf of the Palestinian people and Arab nationalism and unity for the region.  This scholarship supports qualified students in need.


    Sabra Purtill Endowed Scholarship
    Established in December 2005 by Ms. Sabra Purtill, to benefit Lebanese female students at AUB. Recipient students must come from a poor family of established Lebanese heritage and must have good grades from her high school.


    Sadie B. Latouf Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1979 as part of the  will of the late Ms. Sadie B. Latouf. This scholarship supports needy and qualified students.


    Salem Suleiman Al-Othman Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1995 by Ms. Sarah Ariss in honor of her late son Salem. The scholarship helps needy and qualified students pursue their degrees at AUB.


    Salwa Es-Said Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2003 to support qualified and needy female Lebanese student pursuing her studies in Medicine.


    Sami Mubarak Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1988 by Mr. Sami Mubarak. This scholarship is given to needy and qualified Civil Engineering students.


    Sami Sidawi Endowed Scholarship
    Established in May 2018 by Mr. Sami Sidawi to support financially needy Syrian students with a preference for those enrolled at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    Samia Ghobril Endowed Scholarship
    Established in July 2007 to support qualified students in need.


    Samia Taji Farouki Arts and Sciences Merit Scholarship
     Established in 2001 by Mrs. Samia T. Farouki. Mrs. Samia received her B.S. in 1970 from AUB and M.S.Education from George Washington University. She is the Founder and President of HAI Finance Corp., Virginia.  The scholarship is granted to young, arab woman.


    Samih Alami Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in December 1997 by the Alami Family in the name of the late Dr. Samih Alami who for three decades was an exemplary leader of the AUBMC Department of Laboratory Medicine.   Scholarships are awarded to qualfied and needy Palestinian students studying in the Faculty of Medicine.


    Samir Ahmad Zaabri Scholarship
    Established in 1991 by Mr. Samir Zaabri an alumnus of AUB. The fund helps needy and qualified students at any Faculty at AUB.


    Samuel B. and Grace H. Kirkwood Scholarship
    Established in 1992 by the AUB President Dr. Samuel B. Kirkwood under his name and his wife's name. The scholarship is granted to Agriculture and Medicine students.


    Sarah Al-Turki Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1999 by Sheikh Saleh Turki. Awards from this fund is used to provide financial assistance to needy and qualified Arab students who are registered on a full time basis at the Department of Education or at the Graduate School of Business and Management. 


    Sarah and Rafic Kaaki Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016 to support qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    Selma Shaheen Nursing Scholarship
    Established in 1970 by Mr. Azeez Shaheen. The income from the scholarship is used to assist one or more needy and qualified nursing students toward the cost of their nursing education at AUB.


    Serene Dajani Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2004 by Dr. Nabil Dajani in honor of his late sister Serene Dajani, who died in 2003 from an incurable blood disorder. Mrs. Dajani worked for the UNRWA as a social worker. Before her death, she had requested from her brother, Dr. Dajani (AUB graduate) to use monies from her estate to support educational and humanitarian efforts for Palestinians. The scholarship provides financial aid to 1-3 students annually based on financial need and good academic standing. Students should be Palestinian from the West Bank or Gaza Strip. If no such students are identified it could go to other students of Palestinian origin.


    Shafic Melhem Shabshab Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2002 by Mr. Shafic M. Shabshab. The scholarship helps needy and qualified Lebanese students at any Faculty at AUB.


    Shafik and Mary Tumeh Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1991 by Mr. Zuheir Tumeh in the name of his parents Shafik and Mary Tumeh.  Mr. Shafik Tumeh was one of the earlier graduates of AUB medical school, getting his MD degree in 1935.This scholarship is used to support bright and financially needy students in the Faculty of Engineering and Agriculture.


    Shaheen Brothers Endowed Scholarship
    Granted to needy and qualified Palestinian students from Ramallah.


    Shawki Gholmieh Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2009, by Mr. Imad Gholmieh. The scholarship will be awarded to students of Lebanese nationality, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.


    Sleyman and Sofia Trabulsi Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1980 by Mr. Fred Trabulsi after the name of his father and his mother. Income produced by the fund is used for scholarships for needy students from Lebanon without regard to religious heritage, but with preference given to students who come from the village of Machghara (near Zahle in the Beka'a Valley). 


    Stella B. Kern Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1994 to help needy and qualified students pursue their studies at AUB.


    Stephen A. Miller Endowed Scholarship
    Established by the friends of Prof. Stephen Miller in memory of his son who died of polio while residing in Beirut. The scholarship is granted to students who have finished their freshmen year and will be in their sophomore year.


    Strategy & Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2008 to support qualified Lebanese students in need in their final year pursuing a degree in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.


    Sudan Students Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2015 to support Sudanese students in need who are pursuing their undergraduate degrees at AUB.


    Suhayl Assaf Farah Endowed Scholarsip
    Established in 1972, by Mr. Suhayl Assaf Farah. The scholarship is open to any student from Jbeil, Lebanon pursuing any field of study at AUB.


    Sulayman Salim Alamuddin Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2005, by Mrs. Hana Sulayman Alamuddin in memory of her late father Sulayman Salim Alamuddin. He graduated from AUB in 1944 and was the Manager then Chairman of the Board of Near East Resources till 1984.


    Suliman S. Olayan Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1980  to support qualified students in need.

    Terry and Pierre Aboukhater Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1999, by Mr. Pierre Aboukhater. The scholarship is granted to female Lebanese students pursuing their career in nursing. 50% of the recipients to be Maronite plus one Bahai female. The balance will go to Christians of Lebanese origin.


    Teta Endowed Scholarship
    Established in June 2012 to provide full or partial scholarships to academically qualified and financially disadvantaged undergraduate female students earning degrees in Nursing and/or education at AUB.


    The Aisha Al Mana Endowment for Women in Nursing and the Health Sciences
    Established in 2016 to support female students pursuring their degrees in the fields of nursing and health sciences.


    The Ameen and Sophia, Taft and Nelly Antoun Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1998, to support needy and qualified students from Bekaa.


    The Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2008 by Mr. Andre Tabourian. This scholarship supports the tuition of Armenian students who demonstrate financial need and who are in good academic standing and will continue to grant support to a prior year recipient till he or she graduates.

    Established in 2005 to support qualfied Armenian students in need.


    The Brummana High School Cultural Society Endowed Scholarship
    Established in May 2017, to financially support needy and qualified AUB students who are Brummana High School alumni.


    The Cleveland H. Dodge Foundation Endowed Scholarship (Ford Foundation Match)
    Established in 2007 to support qualified students in need.  All gifts to this fund were matched by the Ford Foundation.


    The Cleveland H. Dodge Foundation Scholarship
    Established in 1968, all donations to the fund were matched by the Cleveland H. Dodge Foundation in order to grow the fund. This scholarship supports Arab students who are qualifies and in need.


    The Dorothy Fahs-Beck Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2000, through the estate of Mrs. Dorothy Fahs-Beck. This scholarship supports qualified students in need with Palestinian heritage.


    The Family of Khaireddine El Jisr Endowed Scholarship
    Established in December 2014 by Mr. Khaireddine Hazem Jisr. The purpose of the Fund is to support needy students from Tripoli and the North of Lebanon. 


    The Fuleihan Family Endowed Financial Aid Fund
    Established in 2005 by Mrs. Fuleihan in memory of her husband, Mr. Basil Fuleihan. Mr. Fuleihan graduated from AUB with a BA in economics in 1984 and earned his master's degree from Yale University and his PhD from Columbia University. He taught at AUB popular courses in development economic, international economics, applied economic policy and digital economy. This scholarship supports qualified students in need studying economics.


    The Herter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1993 to support qualified students in need.


    The Houda Idriss Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 1971, by Dr. Farouk S. Idriss in honor of his late sister. Dr. Farouk Idriss is a 1953 graduate from AUB's Medical School and Head of the Division of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgery at the Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Idriss designated this scholarship to needy Lebanese Arab students studying at AUB, who show good scholastic record. 


    The Khayreddine and Adel Abdul-Wahab Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1991, by Dr. Afif Abdul-Wahab, an AUB alumnus of 1941 with a MD. The scholarship is awarded to Lebanese students from Al-Mina, Tripoli, as based on academic qualifications and financial need.


    The Maximilian E. & Marion O. Hoffman Endowed Scholarships
    Established in 1997, by the Maximilian E. & Marion O. Hoffman Foundation. This scholarship was made to financially support needy but qualified  Lebanese students from Zahle.


    The Maximilian E. & Marion O. Hoffman Foundation, Inc. Endowed Scholarship for Medical Students
    Established in 2005, by the Maximilian E. & Marion O. Hoffman Foundation. This scholarship was made to financially support needy but qualified medical or pre-med Lebanese  students from Zahle.


    The Medicine Class of 1982 Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established in 2007 by the AUB Medicine Class of 1982 as represented by Dr. Akram Talhouk in memory of Zalfa Ali-Ahmad, Adnan Badro, Hani Hout, and Antoine Zubuni. The Fund shall be used to provide scholarships on annual basis  to one or more medical students on the basis of financial need and academic standing maintaining equal distribution of the scholarships between male and female medical students. 


    The Nada Suheil Muasher Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Was established in 1996, by Dr. Suheil J. Muasher in memory of the late Mrs. Nada Muasher. The scholarship is granted to qualified student(s) from these localities in the following order: Baino, Lebanon / Salt, Jordan / Jordan / Lebanon. Students are given the opportunity to choose any field of study within the Faculty of Arts & Sciences and the awards are made on the basis of financial need. The recipients will continue to receive support from the fund as long as they remain in good academic standing and until they matriculate a BA or BS degree.


    The Nemr and Helene Chamoun Scholarship
    Established in 1998 to support qualified students in need.


    The Peggy Smith Scholarship
    Established in 1989 in memory of Peggy Smith. The scholarship is granted on basis of qualifications and need of the recipients, with preferences given to female students.


    The Ramiz Mikdashi Endowed Scholarship
    Established in November 1995 by Mr. Usama R .Mikdashi in honor of his late father, Mr. Ramez Mikdashi. The scholarship is awarded to a graduating student from the "Social Welfare Institution in Lebanon"(Islamic Orphanage).


    The State of Qatar Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1990 to support qualified students in need.


    The Suad Husseini Juffali Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2006 by Mrs. Suad Juffali. The scholarship is granted to Palestinian students who have a a GPA of minimum 3 (on a four point scale), a 1200 on SAT1, who demonstrate an ability of writing and reading English by submitting a valid TOEFL or ELEPT Exam, who are in financial need and a full-time undergraduate students. The amount and kind of aid a student receives is reviewed each year so that any changes in fees and in family resources can be taken into account. Normally, students on probation are not eligible. The students selected maintain their scholarship award until graduation as long as they meet all the criteria. The recipient of the scholarship is expected to contribute to the Suad Husseini Juffali Scholarship Fund to fund another deserving student at AUB sometime in the future whenever he or she can afford to do so.


    The Wellspring Learning Community Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016 by the Wellspring Learning Community Schools to support an exception graduate of the Wellspring Learning Community who is pursuing an education at AUB.


    Toufic and Oumaya El Zouheiri Endowed Scholarship

    Established in 2019, by Mr. Fadi Zuhayri to honor his late parents’ loving spirits and legacy of strong family values. This scholarship endowment is primarily dedicated to support the education of needy female students pursuing any degree or major at AUB. The late mayor Toufic Salim El Zouheiri and his loving wife sheikha Oumaya Chakib Haidar strongly believed in the importance of education to promote self-empowerment and family advancement in life.​

    WAAAUB Abu Dhabi Chapter Endowed Nursing Scholarship
    Established in January 2018 through the genososity of the WAAAUB Abu Dhabi Alumni Chapter to support Nursing students provided the students demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.

    Established in 2007 by the AUB Alumni Engineering and Architecture Chapter, this fund supports qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.

    Established in 1990 by the AUB Alumni Association in Greece to support needy and qualified students.


    WAAAUB - Jeddah Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2008 by the WAAAUB Jeddah Chapter to support qualified students in need.


    WAAAUB - Kuwait Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2004 by the AUB Alumni Association of Kuwait to support needy and qualified students.


    WAAAUB - New England Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016 through the generous commitment of the WAAAUB New England Chapter to support qualified students in need.


    WAAAUB - New York Tristate Area Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established by the WAAAUB New York Tristate Chapter to support qualified students in need.


    WAAAUB - Oman Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in July 1998 by the AUB Alumni Committee in Oman, though an annual fund-raising dinner the alumni association continues to raise funds for the scholarship. The scholarship supports qualified students in need pursuing their studies at AUB.


    WAAAUB - Qatar Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1998 by the AUB Alumni Association in Qatar to support needy and qualified students.


    WAAAUB - Riyadh Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2000 by the AUB Alumni Association - Riyadh Branch Scholarship to support needy and qualified students to pursue their studies at AUB.


    WAAAUB - Riyadh Chapter Endowed Scholarship for FHS
    Established in 2008  to support qualified students in need studying in the Faculty of Health Sciences.


    WAAAUB - Southern California Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1992 by the Southern California Chapter of the AUB Alumni Association of North America to help students at AUB finance part of their educational needs. The fund supports students in the schools of Agriculture, Art and Sciences, Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences and/or Faculty of Medicine. 


    WAAAUB - Swiss Chapter Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1996 by the AUB Alumni in Geneva to support needy and qualified students.


    WAAAUB - Syria Chapter Scholarship
    Established in 2002 after the AUB Alumni in Syria Annual Dinner, which raised the funds to establish the scholarship. This scholarship supports exceptional Syrian students who need financial aid.


    WAAAUB - UK Limited Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2003 to support qualified students in need.


    WAAAUB Philadelphia Alumni Chapter Cookbook Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2016 through the proceeds from the ABUNDANCE cookbook sale to support qualified students in need.


    Wa'el Nohad Chehab Endowed Scholarship for Business
    Established in 2004 to support qualified student in need studying at the Olayan School of Business.


    Walid and Nada Abushakra Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2008 by Mr. Walid Abu Shakra. The scholarship is awarded to one or two sophomore Lebanese students who graduated from the Universal College-Aley. Students  will continue to receive support from the scholarship as long as they demonnstrate financial need and maintain good academic standing.


    William and Aida Haddad Endowed Scholarship for Engineering
    Established in 2010, by Mr. William Haddad. The scholarship supports the tuition of AUB students, preferably of Palestinian origin, pursuing a degree at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, who demonstrate financial need and who are in good academic standing.


    William and Huda Zoghbi Endowed Scholarship for Medical Students
    Establised in 2017 by Drs. William and Huda Zoghbi to support qualified medical students in need.


    William Mitri Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2007 by Mr. Antony Maw to honor the wishes of his late mother, Nahia, who wanted to establish a scholarship to honor the life and memory of her brother William Mitri. The scholarship supports the tuition of one Lebanese student from South Lebanon, who demonstrates financial need and who is in good academic standing.


    Yervant Jidejian Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 1984 by Dr. Jidejian who passed away in 1989 after a long illness. The scholarship was reactived again in 1991 by the Department of Surgery and the University commemorating Dr. Jidejian. Since its establishment the scholarship was fruitfully used as travel grants to support the participation of three senior surgical residents in the scientific meeting of the american college of Surgeons in 1984,1986 and 1988. The main objective of the scholarship is to encourage research and scholarly contributions of the surgical residents.


    Yusef Abu Khadra Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2000 by Mr. Yusef to help needy and qualified students enrolled in the School of Business of Administration at AUB and who are of Palestinian origin.


    Yusuf and Najat Zarour Dubai Alumni Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 2010 as "Yusuf Zarour Scholarship" and then renamed in 2011 as "Yusuf and Najat Zarour Endowed Scholarship Fund" by the AUB Alumni Association - Dubai Branch. This scholarship supports needy and qualified students.


    Zahra Bissat Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Established by Mr. Mustafa and Mrs. Leila Bissat to help needy and qualified Muslim, Sunni students pursuing their careers at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.


    Ziad Beydoun Endowed Memorial Scholarship
    A Trust Deed was made in 1998 by Muntaha S. Beydoun to honor the memory of the late Professor Ziad Beydoun and his distinguished academic career at the American University of Beirut and at Oxford University. Supports qualified students in need.


    Zohrab A. Kaprielian Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1982 by friends and colleagues of the late Mr. Zohrab Arakel Kaprielian to support needy and qualified students pursuing their studies at AUB. Mr. Kaprienlian obtained his B.A and M.S in physics at AUB and his PhD in electrical engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. He was also an active member of AUB's Southern California Chapter of the Alumni Association. 

    Zouheir Chafic Daouk Memorial Endowed Scholarship
    Established in 1978 by Mrs. Ambra Daouk Dabbous in the name of her late brother Mr. Zouheir Daouk. It is an endowed scholarship and will be awarded to one Lebanese student at any Faculty at AUB. Graduates of Makassed schools in Beirut are given priority.
