A.M. Rabbat Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1989 to support students at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, and/or the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business.

Abdallah and Samia Tamari Foundation Endowed Scholarship

Established in July 2019 by HE Mr. Tammam Salam to support Lebanese and Palestinian students who demonstrate financial need.

Abdallah Youssef Lahoud Endowed Scholarship

Established in January 2012 to honor the life and memory of the late Abdallah Lahoud, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Abdul Aziz Soueidan Endowed Scholarship

Established in August 2024 to support students who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing. Preference will be for students pursuing a degree in medicine.​

Abdul Ghani and Inayat Hammour Endowed Scholarship

Established in October 2009 to support Lebanese and Syrian students who demonstrate financial need, have good academic standing, and are studying engineering, preferably chemical or petroleum engineering.

Abdul Mohsen Al-Qattan Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1989 by Abdul Mohsen Al-Qattan to support Palestinians students. Trustee Al-Qattan is the founder and chairman of the A.M. Qattan Foundation, one of the leading cultural and educational institutions in the Arab world.

Abdullah Osseiran Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1972 by the friends of Abdullah Adil Osseiran after his tragic and untimely death, this fund supports students from South Lebanon who demonstrate financial need.

Aghnie Farouk Abi Rafeh Endowed Scholarship

Established in December 2023 to support female Druze students majoring in a STEM field who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing​.

Agnes Varis Endowed Scholarship

Established in August 2017 by the Agnes Varis Trust to support students who demonstrate financial need pursuing their degrees in the sciences.

Ahmad Abdul Jabbar Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in October 2004 by Maha, Lina, and Rima Abdul Jabbar, the daughters of Ahmad Abdul Jabbar, a renowned diplomat, as a surprise to him, the scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Ahmad and Shirine El Khatib Endowed Scholarship

 Established in 2015 to support students who demonstrate financial need, with a priority for Palestinian students.

Ahmad S. El-Khalidy Endowed Scholarship

Established in April 1956 by the Board of Trustees in memory of Ahmad S. El-Khalidy, this scholarship supports Palestinian students who demonstrate financial need studying in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Ahmad S. Zaabri Endowed Scholarship

Established in March 2013 in honor of Ahmad Al Zaabri, an AUB alumnus (BA '00) to support students who demonstrate financial need.

Ahmad Shamsuddin Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in May 2001 by the Shamsuddin family and a group of colleagues, friends, and students of the late Professor Ahmad Shamsuddin, the scholarship supports high-achieving students who demonstrate financial need majoring in computer science.

Aida Ashur Hannun Endowed Scholarship

Established in January 2019 by Dr. Yusuf Hannun to support Palestinian women students who demonstrate financial need and are majoring in either mathematics or computer science.

Albert and Loreen Rihani Endowed Scholarship

Established in July 2020 by May Rihani to support students who demonstrate financial need pursuing their studies at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Ali Ghandour Endowed Scholarship

Established in August 2003 to honor the late Ali Ghandour, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 1983 by Dr. Harry Seneca in the name of his parents, Archak and Maroun Senekjian, to support Armenian students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 1996 by the Office of Development and funded from the sale of the Directory of Alumni 1866-1991 and the sale of Alumni Identification Cards, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 1982 by Nedko S. Etinoff in honor of his late wife, Aznive, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need, preferably of Bulgarian origin.

Bana Hilal Endowed Scholarship

Established in October 2019 by Bana Hilal to support students who demonstrate financial need.

BAPCO Endowed Scholarship

Originally established in September 1980 for other purposes, this fund became a scholarship fund in 2019. It supports Bahraini students at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business who demonstrate financial need.

Barakat-Sawabini Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 2004 by George Barakat in honor of his parents, his late wife, and her parents and brother, this scholarship supports Arab students who demonstrate financial need, with a preference for Palestinian students.

Bashar Hassan Khayat Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2004 in honor of Bashar Hassan Khayat by his family, the scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Bliss Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1925, by Professor Jewett and his wife in honor of Dr. Daniel Bliss, the founder and first president of the Syrian Protestant College, which later became AUB, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

C. R. Whittlesey Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1979 by Professor Jamshed K.S. Ghadi to honor the memory of C.R. Whittlesey, who was born in 1900 and spent three years at AUB (1921-24) teaching business and pursuing a master's degree in economics. The scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

C.R. Whittlesey Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1979 by Professor Jamshed K.S. Ghadi to honor the memory of C.R. Whittlesey, who was born in 1900 and spent three years at AUB (1921-24) teaching business and pursuing a master's degree in economics. The scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

C.V. Starr Endowed Scholarship Fund

Cornelius Vander Starr established the Starr Foundation in 1955. It has been a generous benefactor to many colleges and universities globally, this scholarship was established in 1997 by the foundation to support students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in November 2022 to support students who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.​

Charles Hagopian Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1987 after the death of Charles Hagopian. This scholarship supports Lebanese- Armenian students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in October 2019 by Charles and Mary Saleh to students who demonstrate financial need.

Chinyeh Hostler Endowed Scholarship

Established by Chinyeh Hostler, the widow of Charles Hostler, in August 2017 to support students who demonstrate financial need from either the US or the Far East.

Clapp-Constan Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1970 after the death of Eleanor Clapp who bequeathed part of her estate to AUB in honor of Professor Nicholas D. Constance, Department of Chemistry. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Class of MD 89 Endowed Scholarship

Established in December 2019 by the MD Class of 1989 to support medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Cleartag-Mirum Endowed Scholarship

Established in April 2017 by Tarek Dajani, the CEO and founder of the Cleartag-Mirum Company to support students who demonstrate financial need majoring in graphic design or computer science.

Computer Science Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship

Established in February 2018 to support undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need pursuing a degree in computer science.

Constantine Zurayk Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1952 by Marie El-Khoury in the name of Dr. Constantine Zurayk to support students who demonstrate financial need majoring in philosophy, political science, education, sociology, economics, or psychology.

Daniel & Emily Oliver Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1978 by the Daniel and Emily Oliver Orphanages in memory of Daniel and Emily Oliver, the scholarship supports promising Lebanese undergraduate women students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 1959, as stipulated in the will of David A. Fuleihan who bequeathed a portion of his estate to AUB to support students who demonstrate financial need.

David S. Dodge Arabic Fund

Established in 2010 in honor of David Dodge, the great-grandson of Daniel Bliss and son of President Bayard Dodge, who served as president of AUB from 1996 to 1997, this scholarship supports American students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 2003 by the Abdulwahab family in honor of distinguished alumnus Dr. Afif Abdul Wahab to support students studying pre-medicine or medicine who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Fadlo Raji Abu-Haydar Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2005 by Dr. Fadlo Abu-Haydar, an associate professor of internal medicine and AUB graduate (MD '52), to support students studying in the Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Fady and Mrs. Roula Dalloul Sharara Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2009 by Dr. Fady and Mrs. Roula Dalloul Sharara to provide financial support to two medical students who demonstrate financial need. Dr. Fady Sharara, the founder and medical director for the Virginia Center for Reproductive Medicine (VCRM), headquartered in Reston, VA, earned his BS (1982) and MD (1986) degrees at AUB.

Dr. Farahe Maloof Medical Endowed Scholarship

Established by Dr. Maloof, who was awarded the Said Akl Prize in 1963 after giving two lectures at AUB based on his research and experiments for the diagnosis and treatment of different diseases that affect the thyroid gland. Upon his return to Boston, Maloof and the Cedars Club, a group of Lebanese individuals residing in Boston, provided the funds to establish the scholarship, which helps support medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Farouk S. Idriss Endowed Medical Scholarship

Established in 1999 by Lorrain Idriss Ball on behalf of her late husband, Dr. Farouk S. Idriss, BS, MD, this scholarship supports Lebanese medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Fuad and Alice Trabulsi Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1992 by Dr. Fuad and Mrs. Alice Trabulsi, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Fuad Rafidi and Dr. Sawsan Barakat Endowed Scholarship

Established in December 2023 to support students who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.​

Dr. Gebran and Mrs. Salma Farah Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 2007 by Dr. Gebran M. Farah in his name and that of his late wife, Salma Farah, to provide scholarships to Lebanese nursing students who excel academically and demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Georges Fakhoury Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1998 to support the tuition of students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Harry G. Dorman Scholarship

Established in 1962 by the Dorman family in honor of their father, Dr. Harry G. Dorman. The Dormans have strong ties to Lebanon, and especially to AUB. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Jamil Karsh Endowed Scholarship

Established in October 2018 through a bequest from Dr. Jamil Karsh to support medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Jean Moadie Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2003 from the estate of alumnus and scholarship recipient Dr. Jean Moadie (BA '43, MD '47) in recognition and appreciation of the support he received, this scholarship supports medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. John I. Makhoul Endowed Scholarship

Established in April 2023 to support students pursuing their studies at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.​

Dr. John I. Mirhij Scholarship

Established in 1992 by Dr. Mirhji's daughter, Dr. Najwa Mirhji-Shammas, and her husband Dr. Hanna Shammas in honor of her father who was a professor and chairman of the Department of Biology, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need from Dhour El-Chwair.

Dr. Joseph Yammine Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1981 by Dr. Joseph Yammine, the "moral loan," as Dr. Yammine called it, supports Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need from the Mount Lebanon area.

Dr. Marcel and Jane Saghir Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in December 2021 to be awarded to Lebanese students from Amioun/Koura pursuing their studies at the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Dr. Mohammad Chatah Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2014 by Dr. Nadim Mounla and his friends in honor of the life, legacy, and memory of alumnus Dr. Mohammad Chatah, the scholarship supports undergraduate Lebanese students from North Lebanon who demonstrate financial need, excel academically, and are pursing degrees in economics, international relations, political science, or public administration.

Established in 2012 by Nuha Mikdashi in honor of her late husband and AUB alumnus Dr. Muhammad Hijazi, this scholarship supports students, with a preference for orphans.

Dr. Naji Sahyoun Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2003 by the friends and loved ones of distinguished alumnus Dr. Naji Sahyoun, the scholarship supports medical students who demonstrate financial need and excel academically.

Dr. Osama Elansari Endowed Scholarship

Established in September 2013 by Lana Elansari and her sisters in honor of the life and memory of their parents, Dr. Osama Elansari and Mrs. Ibtissam Akkad Elansari, the scholarship supports Syrian students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Randa Antoun Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2014 by the Antoun family in memory of the late Dr. Randa Antoun, AUB professor, the scholarship supports students who are majoring in political studies or public administration at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Robert A. Chahine Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2020, this endowed scholarship fund supports needy and qualified Lebanese medical students,  preferably from the region of Akkar.  It is named for Dr. Robert A. Chahine (MD ’66), who had a prominent academic career in the US and in Lebanon where he served as dean of the Lebanese University Medical School.

Dr. Saad Hamdi AlZaim and Family Endowed Scholarship

Established in January 2020 by Omar and Alma AlZaim to support students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Said H. Sayegh Endowed Scholarship

Established in September 2020 by Dr. Mohammad H. Sayegh in honor of his late brother, Dr. Said H. Sayegh, to support students who demonstrate financial need at the Faculty of Medicine.​

Dr. Salim Musalli Pasha Scholarship

Established by Dr. Salim Musalli Pasha who bequeathed a sum of money to AUB to create an endowment to provide scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need. After graduating from SPC (AUB) in 1875, Dr. Salim Musalli Pasha went on to study medicine in America.

Dr. Sami Kabbani Endowed Scholarship

Established in January 2018 by Dr. Nader Kabbani to support Syrian medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Samia J. Khoury and Dr. Mohamed H. Sayegh Endowed Scholarship

Established in August 2017 by Dr. Samia J. Khoury and Dr. Mohamed H. Sayegh to support the tuition of medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Samuel White Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1960 by Dr. Samuel E. White (Waheed) to support Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need. In addition to establishing a scholarship, Dr. White and his wife bequeathed their entire estate to support this endowment.

Established in 1926 to support students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Yakub Inati Scholarship

Established in 1982 by the family of Dr. Yakub Inati, this scholarship benefits Lebanese medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Yusuf K. Hitti Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1979 from the proceeds from the Hitti Medical Dictionary, this scholarship supports medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Zuhayr A. Moghrabi Scholarship

Established in November 2024 to support students from Tripoli who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing. ​

Drs. Abdullah and Daoud Sulaiman Kassir Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in December 2017 by Nabil Kassir to support Iraqi students who demonstrate financial need.

Drs. Adel and Larry Anna Afifi Endowed Scholarship

Established in October 2022 to support Palestinian students pursuing their studies at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.​

Dunia Foundation Endowed Scholarship

Established in June 2024 to support Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.​

E. Maxine Bruhns Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2006 by E. Maxine Bruhns to support Palestinian students who demonstrate financial need. Bruhns completed her MA in education at AUB in 1945. She and her husband then returned to the US where she worked as the director of Nationality Rooms and Intercultural Exchange Programs at the University of Pittsburgh.

Eileen Page Medical Endowed Scholarship

Elias and Shirine Matta Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2004 by the Matta family, specifically Nadim, Shirine, and Khalil, the children of Fadil Khalil Matta this scholarship supports students from Bhamdoun who demonstrate financial need. The Matta family has strong ties to AUB: both Fadil and his son Nadim are AUB graduates. 

Elie Khalil Khouri Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2015 by Elie Khoury to support students who demonstrate financial need pursuing a degree in media studies.

Elissar Farah and Assaad Antonios Endowed Scholarship

Established in April 2020 by Mr. Assaad and Mrs. Elissar Antonios to support students who demonstrate financial need.

Elsa and Stanley Kerr Scholarship

Established in 1985 by Elsa Kerr who bequeathed funds from her estate to AUB to establish a scholarship fund to support nursing students who demonstrate financial need. Kerr left a note attached to her will stating that she wanted the scholarship to support nursing students in honor of her sister, Laura Reckman, who spent her lifetime in nursing and nursing education.

Emile and Helen Chartouni Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2010 by Nabil Chartouni in honor of his parents, Emile and Helen Chartouni, to support students who demonstrate financial need.

Emile and Helen Murr Dabaghi Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2002 by Alexander T. Ercklentz in the name of his parents, Enno and Hildegard Ercklentz, the scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need. Ercklentz has been a trustee emeritus since 2012 and trustee since 1989.

Fadil and Nijmeh Khalil Matta Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1972 by Victor Bisharat in memory of his late father, Hanna Bisharat, the scholarship supports students from the Middle East.

Hanna Said Choulji Scholarship

Established in March 1965, after the death of Hanna Said Choulji, who bequeathed a large sum to set up this scholarship. Choulji, who came from a poor family in Aleppo, emigrated to the US for a better future. He established this scholarship to provide opportunities for young Syrians.

Harold B. Hoskins Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1981 by Grania Hoskins in memory of her late husband, Harold B. Hoskins, former chairman of the AUB Board of Trustees (1948-54) and chairman of the Board of Lingnon University in Canton, China, Hoskins was born in Beirut, had a life-long interest in the Arab world, and was considered an expert in Middle Eastern affairs. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

In 1992, an alumni directory for the period 1870-1991 was published in close cooperation with Hazar Graphics, which is owned by three alumni. Kamel Dajani Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1987 by Mazen Dajani, an AUB alumnus who earned a degree in business administration in 1958, in honor of his late father Kamel Dajani, who loved education. The scholarship supports students of Palestinian origin who demonstrate financial need.

Kamel, Aliya, and Nassim Saidi Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in January 2024 to support students from South Lebanon who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing. Preference will be for students from the Jwaya township.​

Khalil Tabet Memorial Endowed Fund

Established in 1970 by Samir Tabet in memory of his late father, Khalil Pasha Tabet, who graduated from SPC/AUB in 1892, was a member of the faculty from 1893 to 1897, and was president of the Cairo branch of the Alumni Association. Because of his father's interest in political thought, journalism, and Arab literature, his son designated this scholarship for Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need and are pursing degrees in the “arts" in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Khawla Hobeika Rizk Endowed Scholarship

Established in March 2020 by Dina Rizk Khoury to support medical students who demonstrate financial need.

Khushroo N. J. Patel Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in January 2006 by Mohammad Attar to honor alumnus and friend Khushroo Patel, who graduated in 1970 with honors. A number of doctors in the US supported Attar and Patel's widow, Hanan Patel, with this initiative. The founders of the scholarship specified that it be awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and excel academically, preferably in the fields of geology or mathematics.

Established in January 2019 by Dr. Lois Aroian to support Arab students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 2006 to support students who demonstrate financial need and excel academically.

Liu Shiming Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in June 2022 to support an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences who demonstrates financial need and is in good academic standing. Preference will be given to an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in studio arts with a keen interest in sculpture.​

LNI - AUB Endowed Graduate Scholarship

Established in 2015 though the support of the Lebanese Nigerian Initiative, this fund provides support to Nigerian students pursuing master's degrees at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business.

Louise L. Massabki Fellowship-Scholarship

Established in June 1978, as stipulated in the will of Louise L. Massabki, this scholarship supports graduate medical students from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, or Turkey who demonstrate financial need.

Magida El-Roumi Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2012 through the sale of CDs from the Majida El-Roumi concert held at AUB in 2002, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Maha and Talal Shair Endowed Scholarship

Mahmoud Dalal Endowed Scholarship

Established in May 2008 in the name of alumnus Mahmoud Dalal (BE Civil Engineering '73), who was the CEO of Specialized Contracting Co. (SCC) in Jeddah, a general contracting company for private and public projects in Saudi Arabia. The scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need from Rashaya.

Makram Ghassan Tweini Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1988 by His Excellency Mr. Ghassan Tweini, to support Lebanese business administration or economics undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate financial need and excel academically.

Malcolm H. Kerr Memorial Scholarship

Established in July 1984 to honor the late Dr. Malcolm H. Kerr, former AUB president, who was assassinated on January 18, 1984 during the Lebanese civil war. The recipients of this scholarship are selected on the basis of academic excellence, promise of success, high motivation, and demonstrated financial need.

Malcolm Kerr AID

This fund was established in July 1985, after USAID decided to terminate the Participant Training Program at AUB. The remaining funds were used to create the Malcolm H. Kerr Scholarship Program (AID), to honor the former president, scholar, and university leader. The recipients of this scholarship must demonstrate academic excellence, promise of success, high motivation, and financial need.

Established in 1999 by the Maloof family to support students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 2016, as stipulated in the last will and testament of the late Mamdouha El-Sayed Bobst, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in December 2014 by the Elmer & Mamdouha Bobst Foundation Inc. to assist students who demonstrate financial need enabling them to pursue their degrees at AUB. This scholarship is awarded to students who are from North Lebanon, excel academically, and demonstrate financial need.

Maria Aziz Scholarship

Established in 1970 by Jorge Aziz in the name of his mother, Maria Aziz, the scholarship is open to students pursuing any field of study. Preference is given to students from Jezzine, then South Lebanon, and finally from anywhere in Lebanon.

Marie El-Khoury Scholarship in Fine Arts

Established in October 1958, as stipulated in the will of Marie El-Khoury, a Lebanese-born American and wife of Issa El-Khoury, a former writer and editor for Arabic language newspapers in New York City. The scholarship supports students majoring in the fine arts (literature, music, painting, and sculpture) who demonstrate financial need.

Marwan and Lynne Muasher Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 2011 by Dr. Marwan and Mrs. Lynne Muasher, this scholarship supports Jordanian students who demonstrate financial need and excel academically.

Mary and Archie S. Crawford Scholarship

Established in 1984 by John Crawford, Molly Potter, and Alice C. Nicolson, the children of Mary and Archie Crawford, in honor of their parents, Mary and Archie S. Crawford. The scholarship honors their parents who spent much of their lives in Beirut as part of the AUB and IC communities. This scholarship supports students studying humanities who demonstrate financial need.

Mary Bajada Memorial Scholarship for Women

Established in 1985 by the friends and colleagues of Mary Bajada, the scholarship supports women students who lack the financial resources they need to study at AUB. This fund was established as a tribute to a woman who gave her time and talents to further the purpose and objectives of AUB.

Mary R. Robinson Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2005 by Ihsan Leila Mogannam, the scholarship helps residents of Palestine who excel academically and demonstrate financial need.

May El Khalil Endowed Scholarship for Exceptional Athletes

Established in 1972 by the Medical Alumni Chapter, the scholarship supports medical students who demonstrate financial need and excel academically.

Established in December 1964, as stipulated in the will of Michael Najem Ma'louf, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Michel Alexandre Namour Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2005 by alumna Barbara Namour, in memory of her late husband, Michel Namour, this scholarship supports Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need and maintain an average of 80 or above.

Micheline and Francois Nader Endowed Scholarship

Established in April 2021 to support the tuition fees of female students at either the Faculty of Health Sciences or the Rafic Hariri School of Nursing who demonstrate financial need.​

Established in 2011 by Saad Dimashkieh in memory of his son, Mohamad Dimashkieh, the scholarship supports Lebanese Muslim students who demonstrate financial need at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business.

Mohammad Hassan El-Chaar Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2015 in memory of Mohammad Hassan El-Chaar, this scholarship is awarded on an annual basis to students who demonstrate financial need who rank between 6 and 15 in the Lebanese Official Baccalaureate Exams.

Moise Antun Khayrallah Endowed Scholarship

Established in May 2020 by Dr. Moise A. Khayrallah to support students who demonstrate financial need majoring in the social sciences or humanities.

Mona Chemali Khalaf Endowed Scholarship

Established in May 2020 to support students who demonstrate financial need, preferably majoring in economics.

Morris Janowitz Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1998 to afford bright and capable young men and women, who demonstrate financial need, with the opportunity to receive an AUB education.

Mounir R. Sa'adah Endowed Scholarship

Established in December 2011 by the Near East Scholarship Fund in memory of Mounir R. Sa'adah, the purpose of the scholarship is to provide support for one or more AUB students each year who demonstrate financial need.

Established in September 2013 by Lana Elansari and her sisters in honor of the life and memory of their parents, Dr. Osama Elansari and Mrs. Ibtissam Akkad Elansari, this scholarship supports the tuition of Syrian students who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.

MSFEA Class of 1964 Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship fund was established to celebrate the MSFEA Class of 1964's 50th class reunion in 2014. It provides scholarships for MSFEA students who demonstrate financial need.

MSFEA Class of 1966 Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2016 as part of the 50th reunion of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Class of 1966, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need pursuing a degree in the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.

Muneef Assaf Farah Endowed Scholarship

Established in April 1972 by Muneef Assaf Farah, the scholarship supports Lebanese students from Jbeil who demonstrate financial need.

Established in December 2019 by Trustee Munib Masri to support Palestinian students who demonstrate financial need.

Murex Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 2008 by Murex Services Sal. to support Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need studying at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. Students who benefit from this scholarship have the opportunity to participate in Murex's summer internship program. Murex Services Sal is a leader in proposing effective technology as a catalyst for growth and innovation in capital markets.

Established in 1992 by Professor Samir Makdisi, a distinguished member of AUB's faculty and former chair of the Department of Economics, who founded and directed the Institute of Financial Economics and served as AUB's deputy president. Through this scholarship, which was established in memory of his late wife, Pauline, Makdisi supports archaeology, history, and other Faculty of Arts and Sciences students who demonstrate financial need.

Ramsey U. Sheikh Scholarship

Established in 1993 by Betty Jean Sheikh in loving memory of her late husband, Ramsey U. Sheikh, who attended the prep section of AUB and began his university studies there before moving to Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, which he did because AUB did not offer mechanical engineering at the time. After graduating in 1951, Sheikh became a licensed professional engineer and the holder of several patents for boiler design and manufacturing methods. This scholarship supports academically promising mechanical engineering students who demonstrate financial need.

Ramzi F. Daouk Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1970 by Dr. Fawzi Daouk in memory of his son, Ramzi, who died in 1965, this scholarship supports civil engineering students who demonstrate financial need.

S. M. Minassian Endowed Scholarship

Established in February 2006, as stipulated in the will of Orrie I. Minassian in memory of his late father, S. M. Minassian, and executed by the Near East College Association, Inc, the scholarship supports Armenian students who demonstrate financial need.

Saadat Hasan Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2010 by Samer S. Hasan and Amer S. Hasan in memory of their father, Saadat Hasan, a prominent career diplomat who worked for the UN on behalf of the Palestinian people and for Arab nationalism and the unity of the region, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 2001 by alumna Samia T. Farouki, who received her BS in 1970, the scholarship supports Arab woman who demonstrate financial need. Farouki is the founder and president of HAI Finance Corporation in Virginia. 

Samih Alami Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in December 1997 by the Alami family in the name of the late Dr. Samih Alami, who was an exemplary leader of the AUBMC Department of Laboratory Medicine for three decades. This scholarship supports Palestinian students who demonstrate financial need studying at the Faculty of Medicine.

Selma Shaheen Nursing Scholarship

Established in 1970 by Azeez Shaheen, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need at the Rafic Hariri School of Nursing.

Serene Dajani Memorial Scholarship Fund 

Established in 2004 by Dr. Nabil Dajani in honor of his sister Serene Dajani, who died in 2003 from an incurable blood disorder. Mrs. Dajani worked for UNRWA as a social worker. Before her death, she had requested that her brother, who was an AUB graduate, use money from her estate to support educational and humanitarian efforts for Palestinians. The scholarship provides financial support to Palestinian students.

Shafic Melhem Shabshab Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2002 by Shafic M. Shabshab, the scholarship supports Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need.

Shafik and Mary Tumeh Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1991 by Zuheir Tumeh in the name of his parents, Shafik and Mary Tumeh. Mr. Shafik Tumeh earned his MD degree at AUB in 1935. This scholarship supports bright students who demonstrate financial need at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.

Established to support Palestinian students from Ramallah who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 2009 by Imad Gholmieh, the scholarship supports Lebanese students, pursuing a degree in civil engineering who demonstrate financial need.

Established in 2005 by the Maximilian E. & Marion O. Hoffman Foundation, this scholarship supports medical or pre-med Lebanese students from Zahle who demonstrate financial need.

The Medicine Class of 1982 Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 2007 by the AUB Medicine Class of 1982 as represented by Dr. Akram Talhouk in memory of Zalfa Ali-Ahmad, Adnan Badro, Hani Hout, and Antoine Zubuni, this scholarship supports medical students who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is awarded equally to women and men medical students.

The Nada Suheil Muasher Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 1996 by Dr. Suheil J. Muasher in memory of the late Mrs. Nada Muasher, the scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need, with preference for students from Baino, Lebanon; Salt, Jordan; Jordan; and then Lebanon.

The Nemr and Helene Chamoun Scholarship

Established in 1998 to support students who demonstrate financial need.

The Peggy Smith Scholarship

Established in 1989 in memory of Peggy Smith, the scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need with preference given to women students.

The Ramez Mikdashi Endowed Scholarship

Established in November 1995 by Usama R. Mikdashi in honor of his late father, Ramez Mikdashi, the scholarship supports graduating student from the "Social Welfare Institution in Lebanon" (Islamic Orphanage).

The State of Qatar Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1990 by the state of Qatar to support students who demonstrate financial need.

The Suad Husseini Juffali Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2006 by Suad Juffali to support Palestinian students who excel academically and demonstrate financial need.

The Taufik Pacha Moufarrige Scholarship Award

Established in 1974 to support students from Koura, North Lebanon who demonstrate financial need.

The Wadih Jureidini Endowed Scholarship

Established in July 2024 to support undergraduate students pursuing degrees at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing. Preference will be for students purusing a degree in agriculture.​

The Wellspring Learning Community Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2016 by the Wellspring Learning Community Schools to support exceptional graduates from the Wellspring Learning Community who are pursuing their educations.

Walid and Nada Abushakra Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2008 by Walid Abushakra, the scholarship supports one or two sophomore Lebanese students who graduated from the Universal College-Aley. Students will continue to receive support from the scholarship as long as they demonstrate financial need and maintain good academic standing.

William and Aida Haddad Endowed Scholarship for Engineering

Established in 2010 by William Haddad, the scholarship supports the tuition of students, preferably of Palestinian origin, pursuing a degree at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.

William and Huda Zoghbi Endowed Scholarship for Medical Students

Established in 2017 by Drs. William and Huda Zoghbi to support medical students who demonstrate financial need.

William Mitri Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2007 by Antony Maw to honor the wishes of his late mother, Nahia, who wanted to establish a scholarship to honor the life and memory of her brother William Mitri. The scholarship supports the tuition of one Lebanese student from South Lebanon, who demonstrates financial need and is in good academic standing.

Yasser and Zeina El-Hajj Endowed Scholarship

Established in October 2020 by Yasser and Zeina El-Hajj to support students in financial need.

Established in 1984 by Dr. Jidejian who passed away in 1989 after a long illness. In 1991, the AUBMC Department of Surgery raised funds to commemorate Jidejian and permanently endow the scholarship, which supports surgical residents.

Yousuf Mansour Endowed Scholarship

Established in July 2024 to support Lebanese or Palestinian students pursuing degrees at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing. ​

Yusef Abu Khadra Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2000 by Yusef Abu Khadra to help Palestinian students who demonstrate financial need at the Suliman S. Olayan School of Business.

Yusuf and Najat Zarour Dubai Alumni Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2010 as the "Yusuf Zarour Scholarship" and then renamed the "Yusuf and Najat Zarour Endowed Scholarship Fund" in 2011 by the WAAAUB Dubai and Northern Emirates Branch, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Zahra Bissat Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established by Mustafa and Leila Bissat to help Muslim students who demonstrate financial need at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Ziad Beydoun Endowed Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1998 by Muntaha S. Beydoun to honor the memory of her late husband, Professor Ziad Beydoun, who had a distinguished academic career at AUB and Oxford University, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Ziad Korban Endowed Scholarship

Established in April 2022 to support up to two students, one male and one female, who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing.​

Zohrab A. Kaprielian Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1982 by friends and colleagues of alumnus Zohrab Arakel Kaprielian, who obtained his BA and MS in physics at AUB and earned a PhD in electrical engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. He was also an active member of AUB's Southern California Chapter of the Alumni Association. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate financial need.

Zouheir Chafic Daouk Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1978 by Ambra Daouk Dabbous in the name of her brother, Zouheir Daouk, this scholarship supports Lebanese students who demonstrate financial need. Graduates of Makassed schools in Beirut are given priority.​​
