  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members.   AUB is accredited in the US by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and includes six faculties: Arts and Sciences, Medicine, Engineering and Architecture, Agricultural and Food Sciences, Health Sciences, and Business. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Information Systems

The Information Systems Unit is responsible for providing information services including the development, implementation, and maintenance of the office information systems and website. The unit is also responsible for generating/automating alumni and donor reports. It coordinates the generation of monthly gift-related reports for both the Beirut and New York offices and generates regular and on-demand reports throughout the year. Its primary responsibilities are to administer the office information systems; provide professional technical support for the office; assist in maintaining and updating the Advancement website; and assisting with office-related fundraising programs and the annual Contributors Report.
