Saluting the Lebanese Flag

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Lebanese Independence Day, AUB organized a ceremony of saluting the Lebanese Flag with the Lebanese Army. Members of the Lebanese Army Music Department first toured the Naef K. Basile Cancer Institute (NKBCI) Ambulatory Center at AUBMC, then moved to the Children's Cancer Center Lebanon (CCCL) at AUBMC, and finally to the Office of Student Affairs at West Hall.

The Lebanese Army played the Lebanese National Anthem as well as other relevant songs in the presence of AUB and AUBMC community members, including patients at the NKBCI Clinics and Infusion Center, and at CCCL, as well as students in front of West Hall. The Dean of Students Nayla Al-Akl also delivered a message of hope and support on this occasion.
