Permissions

​​​​Permission is required for the reproduction of material from AUB Press publications. The request form for permission to reprint or otherwise reproduce material from AUB publications should be submitted in writing by email ​to aubpress@aub.edu.lb.​

Please provide in the permission request the requestor's name, contact information (address, email, fax, telephone), and institutional affiliation (if any). Give the pertinent details about the material you want to reproduce, explain the purpose of the reproduction/reprint, and provide details about the publication in which the reproduced material will appear, including title, author, publisher, publication date, and the number of copies to be published. Kindly include how many pages or what percent of the proposed publication will comprise of the AUB Press material.

Any charges for reproduction will be sent to you via email. Charges can be covered via bank transfer, credit card, or check to the American University of Beirut New York Office. A scan of the check or bank transfer must be sent to aubpress@aub.edu.lb for the finalizations of permissions.

We ask that publications using our material include a statement that the material has been reprinted with the permission of the American University of Beirut - a​n example of a source citation is:
