Inverse problems aim at identifying a model parameter based on collected data. These models are often described mathematically by a differential equation. Computational mathematics seeks to design and implement algorithms to study these equations, understand the underlying model, and predict its evolution. The meeting aims to present various research in applied mathematics related to different scientific fields such as control theory, imaging, data science, and shape optimization. Besides the scientific talks, the workshop will conclude with a discussion session with our panelists aimed at undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing their PhD in applied mathematics.
