  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

The American University of Beirut (AUB) is offering several pre-university summer programs in July 2025 to engage, educate, and prepare high school students for the next step in their academic and personal development journey. All programs, which range between one week and five weeks, will take place on the AUB campus. We invite you to browse our summer programs listed below in alphabetical order. On-campus accommodation can be provided for international students.
