Dr. Nada Khaddage-Soboh
Director (January 2024 – present)
Dr. Nada has been a dedicated advocate for women's empowerment for the past ten years. Her focus has predominantly been on empowering women in their leadership roles, fostering business development, and enhancing soft skills in their business settings. Complementing her academic background with post-doctoral studies in Management, she pursued an MA in interdisciplinary gender studies, driven by her belief that empowering women in business is pivotal for a nation's prosperity. She is committed to aligning her efforts with Center for Women in Business - OSB to empower women in business and leadership through conducting research, advocating for change, providing educational initiatives, and advancing knowledge in this field.

Dr. Lama Moussawi
Director (July 2021 – December 2023)
Under Dr. Moussawi’s leadership, the Center has housed a number of programs and initiatives targeted at making OSB the Center of Knowledge creation and dissemination for women's business and societal growth, as well as contributing to the establishment of corporate cultures that support that objective. These initiatives included programs related to women’s economic empowerment in the MENA region, Women in Data Science Projects, female empowerment in STEM and the higher education sector in the MENA region, and support for research and case-writing initiatives related to women in business and leadership in the Arab world. Dr. Moussawi also played a key role in applying for and securing the funding for SAWI’s second cost extension (Phase 2).
Dr. Charlotte KaramFounding Director (2018-July 2021)
Dr. Charlotte Karam led a number of projects, housed at the Center for Women in Business, to advance inclusive human resource systems, women’s dignified workplace experiences, and sustainable development in the MENA region. Dr. Charlotte Karam is a Professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa..
