  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. The MENA commentary on inclusive business and leadership invites submissions (articles, blogs, books, essays, and reviews) from activists, experts, and practitioners. The submissions may deal with any contemporary issue within the broad theme of gender-inclusion and policy change for women economic empowerment in the region.
