  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. The University encourages freedom of thought and expression and seeks to graduate men and women committed to creative and critical thinking, lifelong learning, personal integrity, civic responsibility, and leadership.

AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Photo/Video

The University has a continuous need for professional video and photography services. Literally hundreds of photographs are used in a wide variety of communication mediums – including official publications, student recruitment material, newsletters, institutional advertising, and the AUB website.

With the emergence of video playing a key role on the web and in promotional videos, there is a growing need for the University to develop additional capabilities in video production. The creative multimedia services offer the ability to record select events, outreach activities and faculty-related research. The services also actively archive raw video footage for subsequent use in producing DVDs or posting on the AUB website.
