 Faculty Learning Communities

The Center for Teaching and Learning is launching a new initiative that involves the establishment of faculty learning communities. A Faculty Learning Community (FLC) is a group of faculty members 8 to 12 members in size “engaging in an active, collaborative, yearlong program with a curriculum about enhancing teaching and learning and with frequent seminars and activities that provide learning, development, transdisciplinarity, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and community building.” ().

Four FLCs were launched during the Fall semester of 2012.

Joining the FLC requires that you fill out an application form, email it to and expect a response from CTL by within two weeks. Please do not hesitate to contact if you have any questions.
