Qatar Connection aims to create meaningful opportunities for youth from across the MENA region to participate in one-time and/or recurring local events and exchange programs in Qatar. There will be a comprehensive approach for scholars to engage with our local partners to understand and participate in the current and historical aspects of Qatar.

  • Recent events:

    • “Debate Skills” workshop, organized by QatarDebate in collaboration with Education Above All Foundation as part of the “Al Fakhoora - Qatar Connection” program, held between February 13th & March 24th 2022, involving 12 training sessions.

    • CISCO Training
      Education Above All’s Qatar Connection platform with its partner Silatech are excited to offer you a free and exciting opportunity provided by CISCO the networking hardware company; CISCO under its Netacad the Corporate Social Responsibility program will provide free CCNA virtual training to the students, The CCNA—which stands for Cisco Certified Network Associate—is an entry-level information technology (IT) certification issued by Cisco. The CCNA is designed to validate your knowledge on fundamental networking concepts often requested in networking roles in IT positions.

    • Inspire Conference. Tuesday, 22 March 2022
      INSPIRE22 is the third of a series of INSPIRE conferences headed, designed and presented by youth. The aim of the conference is to empower youth towards positive change and playing an active role in their communities; and to share Al Fakhoora students’ journeys of developing their skills, competencies, knowledge and experiences to invest in their communities. 

    • “How to use Google Scholars effectively” Wednesday 18 May 2022
      One of the most important skills you need as a student in any field is how to effectively research. Want to learn how to quickly search for Scholarly literature? Join us in this session and discover how Google Scholar can help you in searching for all your needs from articles, journals and books across all disciplines.

    • “Writing A Literature Review” Wednesday 25 May 2022
      Writing skills will benefit you not just in your assignments for university but far beyond your graduation. This session will cover the basic concepts of a literature review. Students will learn about how to structure a literature review and steps and strategies for writing one. Even if you have not written a literature review, this session will also help with your general writing skills.

    • ​“Designing Effective Presentations” Wednesday 1 June 2022
      An excellent presentation can capture the attention of your audience, and powerfully relay the message and information you want. We want you to be ready to design impactful presentations for any topic! This is a hands-on training workshop on designing effective presentations. The workshop will focus on creating presentations that make an impact.​
