The Carmen and Ray Debbane scholarship supports the undergraduate studies of our best FAFS students, It is paid annually for the duration of the recipient's FAFS-AUB degree (3-4 years).
The scholarship program will use generous donor support and matching funding to offer 20 merit-based scholarships of selected high performing grade 12 students with high SAT composite scores and academic grades, accepted to one of FAFS undergraduate programs.
The scholarship will help ensure the student's success every step of the wat through financial support, mentoring and advising, hands on learning, community service, and career counseling.
It will help ensure that the most gifted high school students in Lebanon and the region can boldly aspire to join the next cohort of FAFS students in Agriculture, Food and Environment, and become the future leaders of their communities.

I already applied to AUB, can I still qualify?
Yes, since there is no application specific for this scholarship. If you have already applied to financial aid, you can still apply for the SAFE Scholarship.
Are there any school grade requirements?
Your school grades will be considered for acceptance as part of the regular AUB admissions process. Refer to this link for to check the requirements.
What does this scholarship cover?
The scholarship covers either three or four years of full tuition at FAFS|AUB. Performance will be monitored to ensure that recipients continue to retain a good academic standing throughout the period covered. Students who do not maintain good academic standing may be dropped from the scholarship program.
How do I know if I am shortlisted?
You will be contacted either in June (for Fall Applications) or January (for Spring Applications) if you have been shortlisted and you will be called for an interview.
