National Geographic Society (NGS) and Microsoft's AI for Earth Innovation program seek proposals to support projects that create and deploy AI tools to improve how they monitor and manage Earth's natural systems for a more sustainable future. Core areas include: climate change, agriculture, biodiversity, and water.
Range: USD 5,000 to 100,000. Plus free access to AI for Earth APIs, applications, tools, tutorials, and support for computational work on Microsoft Azure.

Conservation of endangered plant species, Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust (WWCT)
Supporting projects of the following nature: Research into the ecology of rare and threatened species and habitats; Research into how human activity affects species and habitats, and how any potential human-animal conflict can be managed; Projects which aim to design and implement conservation education programmes; Research into the welfare and breeding success of animals in captivity.

Request for projects that are led by or will increase involvement of minorities/members of marginalized groups in wildlife conservation. To support small, local initiatives worldwide towards the conservation of endangered species (flora & fauna), or other initiatives that promote conservation and wise use of nature and our natural resources base. Preferential support for projects in developing countries, with special focus on tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, Asia and Latin America.

This program seeks to invest in social innovations that aim to improve the lives and opportunities of millions of people in the developing world. Open to funding innovations in any sector as long as they can demonstrate their innovation improves the lives of those living on less than USD 5 PPP per day.
