Measuring Food Security by Dr. Carlo Cafiero

Dr. Cafiero is a senior statistician and economist with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). He previously taught at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy). His research has appeared in academic journals including Food Policy, Food Security, and American Journal of Agricultural Economics.

Dr. Cafiero discussed the realities and complexities of gathering, calculating, and interpreting food security measures and indicators, the lecture was followed by time for Q&A.
