FAFS' Food Security Program (FSP) has launched the webinar series “The Impact of COVID-19 on Global Food Security" led by Dr. Martin Keulertz, chair of the FSP Executive Committee, Rachel Bahn, FSP Coordinator, and Abed Yehya, Research Assistant.
The webinar sessions launched on April 23rd, international guest speakers were invited to participate in the panel discussion. The panel considered several timely questions on topics of including: food trade, food security in the Global South, water and climate, nutrition security, sustainable food systems, food security startegies in the Middle East, and Gender.
Guest speakers elaborated on COVID-19 impacts in their respective regions, described their primary concerns and recommendations, and answered different important questions from the moderators and audience. Watch the video-recording for all the seven sessions below:

The third webinar of the series "The impact of COVID-19 on Global Food Security'' addressed the impact of COVID-19 on global food security and specifically, on water security and climate.
